Quality Inn Lebanon Valley, Lebanon

I do agree with some of the most recent reviews that I read. I have stayed at Quality Inn Hotel, Lebanon (original construction early sixties) many times in the past and agree that it was going downhill fast. When I stayed at the hotel in Dec. 06, thought it would be my last. Went back March 07 and discovered that the hotel is now under new ownership since Jan 07, and what a difference. Major renovations to the rooms (at least in the tower) and also no pets in the tower. The room was very clean, w/new carpet and paint. The interior of the elevator was recently wood paneled (but still slow). The service I received was very professional and I was given a very reasonable rate.

I like the Lebanon Quality. I have stayed there many times and have always found the staff to be the greatest. They are always friendly and helpful. Once when I was sick they even let me stay longer and didn't charge me. They brought extra pillows and blankets quickly when requested ect. The entertainment is good as well. Their breakfast is cheap and tasty. The cleaning crew could be a bit better but overall the room was nice. The rates are great if your a bargainer.

The location was perfect...close to everything. The lounge was pleasant and the entertainment was great! The service was excellent, if we needed something they followed through for us. The rooms were clean. We had no issues at all. We showed up early for check in and were in a hurry to get to a wedding and they had no issues with letting us in our room. I would definately stay here again.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel for several reasons. When I booked the room we specifically asked for non-smoking as my husband has bad allergies and we do not enjoy the smell of stale smoke. We were given a room, told it was non-smoking, but found 2 ashtrays in room. No other rooms were available. We were told a machine would be sent to help clean air, but it never was. Also bathroom fan did not work so we couldn't try to remove odors that way. No refund was offered, and worse, no apologies. One good thing, the location to several attractions. And the hotel looked clean. I'm sure it would have been nice if we had been given what we requested ahead of time.

This place is way over priced for this property. The whole hotel needs renovations. The lobby carpet smells musty and moldy. The elevator needs a paint job and we were afraid to touch the inside walls because they have not been cleaned in years. Also the Business center was out of order?? I came in with a discount coupon and they would not honor it, even when we were within all the limits and requirements on the coupon. The lady at the front desk was rude and should be working at the DOT where you get state drivers licences, because that is the kind of service she gives. The location was the only thing good about the hotel, next year I am going to stay a little further out by the interstate 78 where the the rooms are cleaner and cheaper. There are a few hotels right off the exit.

7/1/05 - We found the service friendly, the breakfast was great, location was perfect. No complaints.
