Very good option just right outside of Center City

If you need to stay in this general vicinity, the Crowne Plaza is a very good choice. Formerly a Holiday Inn, this older hotel has undergone some nice renovations to make it into a Crowne Plaza.
Front lobby is nicely furnished and clean. Complimentary hot apple cider, flavored waters and apples are offered. Front desk clerk was very friendly - we checked into Room 536 without issue.
Rooms are large - we had a room with 2 double beds. Very, very clean. There was a work desk and additional chair in the room as well. Sleep amenity packages are complimentary (complete with linen spray, earplugs and eye mask.) Beds are comfortable with nice linens. Bathroom is small, but again, very clean. No mini-fridge in the room. We were only staying for one night, so not a big issue, but if I had been staying longer, I would have requested a mini-fridge.
The property offers a fitness center and an indoor pool with a whirlpool. Great for the kids. Pool is kept warm and temperature of the hot tub was perfect.
We ordered room service for dinner since it was snowing. Food was brought up in 15 minutes and it was very reasonably priced for room service as well as tasty.
Parking is complimentary at this property, which is a nice feature as well.
A nice property - and yes, I would definitely return.
