Genetti Hotel and Suites, Williamsport

The photos on the websitie are deceptive. They show large rooms with new looking decor - my room was the size of a walk in closet and very old and dated. The room had an odd smell, the wallpaper had patches in various areas, the bathroom was awful. The toilet looked like it was out of the 1930s and the heavy fabric dark shower curtain made taking a shower an adventure in the dark. The carpet looked dirty and the hallway didn't look much better. Almost took my wife, glad she didn't go. If you like oldm rundown places this is the place for you

Reasonable price and a great breakfast bar. The free breakfast bar (except weekends) had a great variety. It all tastes home cooked with a great dining area. We stayed five days and they worked with me on the price of the room. Our sleeping room had an adjoining room with a couch, stuffed chairs and an efficiency kitchen. The hotel is older but for us we like the older ones, they are always quieter. The only negative was the rug should be replaced, but it was clean with no owders. (No Pets allowed)

i was very happy with my stay there the room was older but i liked it give me the old town feeling pictures were cool in there hallways i could walk around town,staff very friendly

The room was very old and it appeared that no remodeling had ever been attempted. Once in my room i was able to count 13 lady bugs crawling on the walls and ceiling. VERY UNSATISFIED!!!

We booked the Genetti New Year package in August, right after we learned our favorite band was playing in the Grand Ball Room. We had tickets that were lower than 25 and we got the worst room I have EVER stayed in. It was more like a closet. It was so small we could not walk by each other in the room. One of us had to sit on the bed for the other to pass and the bathroom had 2'x2' floor space. Try getting ready for a beaded night out in a space that tiny!!! That room should have been for one person that booked the day before, not for someone who took the care to let them know months in advance that they would be there. The band was GREAT, the food was average and the place was clean. But we feel so insulted by this that we will never stay here again. We would go to the entertainment but we would definately stay at one of the new hotels close by.

I have been to the Genetti for many functions (banquets, luncheons, dinners, and even Mardi Gras) and have always had great service. I love that the Genetti is in the city where you can find many things to do. Also the restaurant Legends is right there in the hotel. Great place to eat. The room was clean and quite. Didn't hear anything outside of our door. Easy check-in and check-out. Both Ballrooms are big and spacious. I really like the Genetti so much that I would love to have my Wedding Reception there.
