Go Phillies
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/07/08
We really enjoyed this hotel. Booked it online. Check-in was quick. Staff very pleasant, and informed us (without asking) where everything in the hotel was located. Computers located on the ground floor (with free internet), was able to check email and get driving directions without bringing along a laptop. We really loved our room, and the bed was the BEST. A++ Would definitely stay here again. LOVED IT!

Find somewhere cheaper

They are extremely short-staffed and what staff is available is less than helpful. The sheets feel like burlap. And both key cards we had stopped working multiple times.

It's the only place to stay when in Philly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/07
The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are spacious. The bedroom and the bedding is what I look forward to each visit. The rooms invite you to have a good time.

Old Dirty Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/18/06
This hotel needs to be remodeled in the worst way. Old dirty rooms. The staff was pleasent but did only the minimum not to get poor service ratings. Alas allot the of the Sheraton Properites need updating, this is just another example

grade A dump
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/19/06
Total dump. Staff was rude, room was dirty and food was overpriced. With so many other excellent places to stay in Philly, don't stay here. . .

Beautiful Stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/06
This is a wonderful classy hotel. It started with my check-in which went smoothly and the desk clerk was as friendly as can be. The rooms are gorgeous and made me feel as if I never left home. Only small negative was the desk clerk upon me checking out. Didn't ask whether I enjoyed my stay and never even opened his mouth. He just handed me a receipt and sent me on my way. But overall an enjoyable stay

Don't waste your time or money
By Jen, 05/30/06
The lady that checked us in was super nice and helpful. The inside of the hotel was wonderful, absolutely beautiful...but once we got in the room, none of that seemed to matter anymore. You could tell the room had not been dusted in ages and there were huge stains on the sofabed. The wet bar that was advertised consisted of 2 bottles of water that if you drank, would cost you $5.00 a piece. There was no microwave and it was advertised as a suite with microwave and refrigerator. The cabinets were locked and you had to have a key to unlock them, which we were not given when we checked in. The bedroom itself was ok, however the pillow cases had stains on them. The bathroom was decent. The sheets on the pull out sofa looked as if they had not been changed in a while. For what you pay for these suites, they are definately NOT WORTH IT. Sheraton has a reputation for being an upscale hotel. Not this one. I would look elsewhere. However, it is a convenient location if youre in town for a concert...as its only a couple miles to the arena.

Should've Just Said NO!
By A. NikkiM, 05/03/06
When we checked in, I asked for late check-out the next day. I was told to call in the morning to make the request. I asked, "What time in the morning?" I was told, "Just in the morning". I called at 6am to request late check-out and I was told I should have called after 9am. Why didn't the csr behind the counter just say that? I was told by two hotel techs to choose a free movie since it took them so long to fix the problem with my tv. I was billed anyway and then instead of just checking w/ the techs who were in my room the night before, cs says, "Well I don't see where they told you they would give you a movie but I'll take it off the bill". She said it with an attitude. They really need a store. Instead they have 3 vending machines with strange products in them. The food is horribly overpriced. We paid $28 after fees and taxes on two orders of pancakes. Ridiculous! Maybe part of my problem is that I had just finished spending 4 glorious nights at a hotel in Buckhead (Atlanta) where I had been spoiled. But all in all, this stay was nowhere near worth what I paid! Stay somewhere else!
