Creepy cabin

We chose the cabins rather than the lodge, thinking "you get what you pay for". Our first problem was the check-in. The reservation says check in is at 3:00pm, however they mean check in STARTS at 3:00pm. We finally were awarded a key at 5:30pm. At the cabins there are absolutely NO cleaning supplies (dish towels/soap/broom) nor a single pot, pan, dish or utensil. Every cabin I've stayed at before at least had a few things. Our refrigerator wasn't working when we got there, but with a little rigging of the plug we got it working. On the second day our trash was full so we took out the trash in the one extremely thin liner provided. We replaced it with a heavy trash bag from home and went out for the day. When we got back the empty bag was taken, and was replaced back with a flimsy bag. This was the only housekeeping item done. Our empty paper towel dispenser was ignored, as well as our wet towels. The pool at the lodge does not have a hot tub and is in need of an update. I saw one small roach in our cabin and the biggest roach I've ever seen in my life at the lodge.
The park itself is nice, and we enjoyed the boat slip we rented and the marina store. There is a grocery right in the park that was convenient.
We will be returning to this lake, but will not stay in the lodge or cabins ever again.
