ugghh
By me, 07/31/09
I stayed there for two weeks once....bad times...there were constant problems. One day...the pool would be open then, the next they were working on it. They were fixing the roof at the time also and the workers were loud and obnoxious. The people two rooms down from me fought constantly and had the police knocking at everyones door close to theirs. And, the absolute worst thing....I got bronchitis while staying there and was having trouble breathing...when they found black mold in the walls of the hotel from a room upstairs leaking water down the wall into the room below it. So, I immediately left and won't go back until it's completely remodeled...seriously. black mold can make people very sick. I'm not sure if u are supposed to rebuild around it or tear the entire thing down...but...I'm not risking my health.

get what you pay for

The desk clerk was pleasant but the hotel is in desparate need of repair. Team stayed for baseball at Hatbox--close to the field but....some toilets worked, some didn't, bathtubs horribly stained. Continental breakfast was probably the worst we've had. Curtains didn't close without leaving gaps.

Wow

I'm a frequent traveller in this route and this is my second time stay in Travelodge Muskogee. Everything got renewed. Looks like a new management. Looks new from outside. New sign board attracted me this time. New lobby like a 5 * hotel. Rooms feels new. (Very very good, compared to last time). Excellent front desk staff. And a great American breakefast. Cant wait to enjoy the pool in my summer trip.Cant complain any more.

We will never go back!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/05
Online the advertized a free continential breakfast daily, and newly renovated hotel. When we arrived, it was still being renovated, and trash everywhere around exterior of hotel. Breakfast only existed on Mondays and it was at Catfish Cafe?!... The room was not very clean, there were 3 deadbolts on the door to the room, but 2 were broken, air conditioner never got cool, even though it ran 24 hours a day, we had to stay at this hotel for 2 nites, but will never again. The only nice thing about this room was the tv-27in and new, but otherwise, pretty rundown, also our bed, was 2 twins push together to make a queen, burned out light bulbs in room, not enough towels and very thin towels, not soft but rather rough.
