Days Inn Toledo, Toledo

Do not stay at this place unless you want to be billed twice. We stayed on March 6th and reserved 2 rooms - we were billed for 4 rooms. They are not sure if they can issue a credit either - will take up to 1 week. Also this place is very dirty - a dark sticky substance spilled all over the walls. Nasty Nasty Place!

You get what you pay for!!!! And I over paid!!!! Room OK-thought they had a HEATED POOL!!!! NOT!!!!! It was cold and the showers down there only went to extreme cold and there was a worm in the water freaked my daughter out!!! The lights from the freeway even blaired through the dark curtains. The fitted sheets kept popping off while trying to sleep and crumpled up under our bodies. It was a bad choice even for location at this time all the road construction!!!! You have to go a couple miles out of the way to get there if you were coming from the south. Maybe in a couple of years if they try to improve i might think about going back MAYBE!!!!

The price was good, Staff was wonderful. Room was clean and smelled nice. They have done alot of work at this hotel and it shows

My husband and I and our three young boys booked this suite online and it looked great ONLINE! But when we arrived, as soon as we got into the parking lot there was beer bottles and beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere! When we got up to our suite it was SOOOO NASTY AND DIRTY AND DUSTY! One of the bathroom toilets was MELTED! The carpet was FILTHY! The showers were both dirty, and the whole room smelled GROSS! One of the beds sheets were ripped, the fridge was caked with grime! And out on the balcony someone had left some empty beer cans. I took my kids down to check out the pool and that was nasty and dirty too!! I think that we stayed there all of about 30 minutes before we went back to the front desk and DEMANDED AND RECIEVED A REFUND!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!

We stayed her for a volleyball tournament in the area. I have never been in such a terrible motel. If I had not been with a large group I would have left. Room was dirty and seemed very unkept. Towels stained and thin. I had to stop my shower midway through to let the water drain. Breakfast was the worst every. Toaster had to be held down by hand to make work and that did not always work. OJ was out one day and Apple the other. Staff was sitting right there in room but made no effort to refill anything. Hot tub had been turned into a planter long ago but sight still lists one available. Pool was COLD COLD COLD in July. Did not seem very clean either. Signs stated you have to have a bracelet to swim but when I went to front desk to get one staff was rude and acted like I was crazy for requesting one. It was the worst place I have ever stayed.

From the time we checked in to the time we left there were problems. The police were there on a regular basis, the rooms were absolutely filthy. There was drug activity going on, I took my children with us on this trip and my oldest who is 14 years old was approached by a man who asked him and his friend for drug. There was no security in the building doors did not lock and the pool lights were shult off at 9:40 WITH KIDS IN THE POOL, the pool was opened until 10:00. tHIS WAS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE i HAVE EVEN HAD AND i WOULD NOT RECOMMAND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!!!

I did not like anything about this hotel. First the desk staff has no clue about what is going on, one even hung up on me as I was checking my reservation. Then when I got there, the only parking was in a deserted back lot. My room was on the first floor and I didn't feel safe even with the all night security guard. The other hotel guests appeared to have just gotten out of a halfway house. The breakfast you could have gotten a better selection out of a garbage can. And the room was dirty. If it hadn't had been late when I checked in, you couln't have paid me money to stay there.
