Great hotel. Price is right. Great night's sleep
By Tania, 8/24/10
I enjoyed staying in the executive suite for around $160 (with AAA disc) - included king bed, great sitting room with desk and wifi, flat screen tv in bedroom as well as sitting area, 2 baths, door to close off each room, two hall entries into room - perfect for coming in late and not waking other members of your group. There was fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Very pleased. Definitely skip the over-priced, dingy Crowne Plaza next door.

Had a great stay!
By KimR, 7/27/09
The staff was very friendly. We loved the breakfast w/ self made waffles, delicious! The pool was nice and clean. We walked across to the Co co Key waterpark and the kids had a blast! Well worth the money!

Visited after Remodeling and very nice
By Patti, 7/30/07
First off, the hotel is reopened after an extensive remodeling. Please keep this in mind when reading comments prior to 2007. We were the ONLY people in the hotel the night we stayed there (perhaps they had JUST reopened, but it was a little eerie), but the front desk was exceptionally helpful with directions and locations to places for dinner. Tricky to navigate the surface streets (there was construction fencing up in the parking lot that made it hard to see the road), but 15 minutes to Kings Island, and 15 minutes to downtown Cincy - and half the price of the other hotels at the same exit. Room was comfortable, but a bit cramped. They tried to make the most of the situation, and much is forgiven as you watch TV on a 32" flatscreen. Bath & Body Works products in the bathroom, too. Breakfast buffet was excellent. They probably lost money on us as guests. Nice place for an overnight or weekend, not sure about an extended stay.

Overall Very Pleased
By krissy, 7/27/07
This hotel is newly renovated and everything is very nice. The bed has to be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while in a hotel. My family stayed in one of the suites which was huge and met all of our needs. The TV's were great, there was a refrigerator in the room with two full bathrooms as well. We were in the area to visit the zoo and the aquarium and this hotel was was a short drive to both. The hotel is just off of the interstate but the traffic noise is barely noticeable. The bedding was awesome. We never used the pool but did walk down to see the area and it was nice and clean. The breakfast is free and offers several choices. There was something for everyone but the best part was the hot cinnamon rolls. The only thing that I noticed was that we put out the Do Not Disturb sign the first night we stayed and never did get any maid service. I had to go to the front lobby to ask for clean towels which was no big deal to me. This is a very nice hotel. There seemed to be mostly families with children of all ages staying there so if you are looking for a place without children this may not be for you. There are also several places to eat in the immediate area as the hotel only has room service. I would definitely stay there again. This place is a steal at the price I paid.

Disgusting
By Emily, 7/22/05
This is the absolute worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. To begin, the grounds were horribly unkempt, with weeds and trash taking over the front and back of the lot. The advertised attached restaurant, Silla, is no longer open and appears to have been closed for quite some time. The skyway that leads from the hotel into the restaurant showed open ceiling tiles and was filled with old furniture. The "game room" included old, broken games and the "fitness room" actually made me laugh out loud. Both of the machines were broken, the plaster was coming off the walls, the baseboards had been ripped up, etc. The pool was cloudy and dirty. The elevator scared me to death. It lurched, the door slammed shut, it was dirty, defaced with graffiti and smelled horrible. The carpet in the hallway to our room looked and smelled as if it had been flooded at one point. The wallpaper had been totally ripped off the wall at the side entrance. When we arrived in our room, I found a dirty, stained pillowcase on and had to ask for it to be changed. Our housekeeper also forgot to leave washcloths. I could continue, but hopefully this will give you a picture of how disgusting this hotel is. It is truly an embarrassment to the usually comfortable and clean Comfort Inn chain.
