The craphole burned down Saturday! Best thing that could have happened to it other than a bulldozer.

When I was little this place was like the place to be, it is sad to say it is now a home for junkies. We took our kids ages 1 and 3 there to swim, in what I remember being a great pool. We paid the guy that greeted us, who was dreadful, he didn't even say anything really, you could tell we were just bothering him. The place was crawling with what could only be described as shady meth addicts. I swallowed my pride and went to the pool area, where I found a cap to a hypodermic needle. I was ready to leave then, but we were the only ones in the pool and my kids were very excited. We all got into the water and I heard my son yell "look daddy" and I swear to God we all turned around to see a SNAKE swimming in the water with us. I left right away and demanded my money back. The man at the counter didn't even say sorry or anything. It is just so sad. If I was from out of town I would stay at a chain hotel. I have lived in Delaware my whole life and knew the hotel wasn't what it once was, but I had no idea it had gotten that bad. Also, the hot tub was roped off with caution tape, and the place was full of trash both inside and out. Whoever is running this place needs to do some serious rehab, and so do the people who are willing to live in those conditions.

I was recently in town for Mother's day and we checked out their Mother's day Sunday Brunch--very charming! Great food, service and atmosphere. Thanks for helping my brother and I make our Mom feel special!

This was a fabulous event and the sales and service manager was fabulous. Tami was so proactive and creative. The event was a Birthday Party and she was very helpful in creating the perfect atmosphere!

This hotel has the worst service of any hotel I've ever stayed in. We had a couple friends stop by our room to pick us up and they were followed to our room by the hotel front desk woman. Then we received a call from the general manager 2 minutes later yelling at us because they have a "no party" policy. I never knew being picked up by your friends constituted a party. We made no noise and were there for 3 minutes and the general manager was on the phone yelling at us...way unprofessional. We are not young kids and don't expect to be treated as such. The general manager was very disrespectful and way out of line. I would never go back. Go the Amerihost or somewhere else--nicer pool, rooms, and staff.
