Never had dried out prime rib before
By JLP, 12/21/09
We attended a renaissance feast at the Holiday Inn Riverside Dec. 2009. While allowing that it can be difficult to serve a sit down dinner to a large group, still, I have to note that the prime rib was cooked uniformly well done (ick) and it was also dried out. Broccoli was cold, baked potato, OK. The Holiday Inn is not responsible for the entertainment which we found to be minimally entertaining, but the Society for Creative Anachronism is probably not responsible for the disappointing food. We won't be attending another Renaissance Feast and I'm not sure if we want to eat at the Holiday Inn again if this experience was an indication of their general dining enjoyment. I can't recommend the event or the food. The hall used for the event was also quite chilly. The entire event was a poor value for what it cost and was overly long.
