Very Comfortable Room, Pleasant Stay!
By Margie, 1/31/12
My family and I are in the process of moving to Lexington and stayed at the Triad Inn last week. This hotel is being renovated but we were still taken very good care of. The room was very large and it was very quiet. The staff went out of their way to get my family anything we needed and also helped us find a realtor for our house search. I have to say this hotel met and exceeded my expectations and you cant beat it for the room price either!

Nastiest plact I have ever stayed in!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/1/10
I was booked in this motel by my employer because I was coming to Lexington for a class. Obviously the woman who booked this place for me had no idea how nasty and unsafe it was because I'm sure she never would have booked me there! When my coworker and I first drove up, we thought it was abandoned. The staff was nice enough, but after we went into the room, we immediately said "NO way are we staying here!" Long story short, the room smelled terrible, the linens were stained and there was a hair in one bed, there were a few holes in the walls, mold in the bathroom, a mysterious blue streak of something near the sink, etc. We went to the front desk, told them we were checking out and explained why. We then went to the Quality Inn less than 4 miles away. I would never recommend the Lexington Triad Inn to anyone. Unless you want to buy drugs or get a hooker for the night.

Scary place. New management and in poor condition.
By Scott, 8/26/10
I stayed at this hotel when it was an Econolodge 8 or so years ago and at the time the grounds were well kept, there were many people staying there, and the hotel was very clean. At that time it was a better than average motel, but affordable. On my recent visit, I could immediately tell that the grounds were overgrown, there were local kids with bicycles allowed to be at the pool, a strange van was doing business in the parking lot, and the hotel was mostly vacant. Upon checking in, the lobby was nice and clean as I remembered it; however after entering and inspecting the first room I found the following problems: on the king bed box spring there was a two foot section that was blood stained as if someone had been shot or murdered on it. It was apparent that an attempt had been made to clean it but it was still obviously disgusting. The sheets contained pubic hair and had frays and showed significant wear. The mattress was old and concave, and the bed graded slightly toward the wall. The bathroom was clean, but there were no towels. The corner guest chair had white stains on the seat that I can only guess were bodily fluids. I don't know why I didn't immediately ask for a refund, but instead asked to see a second room. Though the hotel was mostly vacant, they said they didn't have any more king bed units, so they gave us a key to a room with two double beds. I found the same conditions of the bed (minus bloodstain). The dresser was listing to one side because the supports were missing and an unusable refrigerator was used to for support. The carpet was dirty and stained. The bathroom again was clean but there was a three by 1/2 inch crack in the base of the tub. There were three random large holes in the walls that had been patched with some sort of wood putty, instead of plaster and no effort had been made to recover with wallpaper. Outside the motel there were shady looking characters coming and going constantly. I worried about the safety of my family and our cars in the parking lot. Thankfully, upon explaining the situation to the front desk they offered a full refund and we drove a couple of miles to a new hotel, paying only $10 more a night after traveler's coupon discounts. I would have paid $40 more, not to have stayed there.

Awesome Place
By Brijan, 7/31/10
I would disagree with the former employee who posted that there are drug activities in this motel. I was going to Charlotte for a wekeend with my kids and due to heavy rain we decided to stay at this property. I will start with staff----the entire crew was just awesome(my favourite word). Pool was clean and humongous. My kids had so much fun that we decided to stay one extra night instead of going to Charlotte. Room was very cozy, and no there was no such activities as mentioned by their former employee. I beileve he/she might have got fired !!!! what a jerk. I will definately recommend this motel to anyone. Hats off guys you do good job keeping rooms in a good shape. One suggestion though---it would be nice if you keep your pool open past 10:00pm :-)

Will return
By Keisha, 1/14/10
This hotel is a great value for what you pay. I got a room for around $45 that was clean and the bed was real comfortable. I slept like a baby all night long. For this hotel to be right off the highway it was very quiet. This hotel is under new management, and the new manager was present when we checked in. She went out of her way to tell us all about what Lexington has to offer. The desk staff helped me with directions around town and even recommended some local restaurants. There is a waffle house next door but no need to go there, they served us breakfast the next morning. We had cinnamon raisin bagels, waffles, and lots of other yummies. I will definatly go back to the EconoLodge. It seems to be one of the best hotels in the lexington area.

Was actually afraid to leave my room.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/5/08
Stayed here with the family one night on the way to Myrtle Beach. Checked in at 10pm. By 11pm we wanted to leave but were afraid to leave the room because of all of the drunks outside our room screaming and cussing. The next morning as we were checking out, I was told that there was a party and that this was not uncommon. The music from the hotel supplied 'party room' could be heard and felt in the guest rooms and did not stop until 3 am. Without a doubt, this was the worst hotel experience of my life.

SECOND TIME AROUND!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/19/08
In my opinion this hotel is definatly the best in the town. I travel alot threw this area now and I found this hotel a little while ago and decided okay I'll try it. The staff were nice and very friendly, room was clean and comfortable, and restaurants were very close by. My rooms was nice and warm when I came in (not sure if they always do that) and within the first ten minutes I was sleeping like a baby.

Great Hospitality!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/10/08
We were on our way to New Orleans and we stopped in Lexington, NC because we seen on the travel channel that it was very well known for it's BBQ. Not only did we get to eat at this great little restaraunt about a 1/2 mile from this hotel, we got to meet some really great people all due to our stay at this hotel. Everyone was great, even the maintenance staff was helpful, they helped us find our puppy that got off of his leash. The staff just had the greatest personalities. I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Lexington, NC. It's an older hotel but the rooms are very clean and well maintained.

Summer Fun
By Keisha, 9/18/05
This summer I had a chance to stay at the Quality Inn in Lexington right off of buisness 85, I was on my way to Myrtle Beach and this hotel is right across the street from the road I had to take to the beach (64-East)It had a gigantic pool and all staff was helpful and suited mine and my families needs throughout our visit to Lexington. I almost enjoyed my stay here as much as the hotel at the beach. I recommend this hotel to anyone who travels frequently, because they enrolled me in the Choice Priviledge Club there I have already earned a free nights stay. The lady at the front desk (Kisha, I think her name was) sent me to this excellent barbecue restaurant called Speedys...yummy. I will definatly be making a trip back to Lexington soon

Will Stay Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/9/05
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel while I was in school at Davidson County Community College. It was the closest hotel I found to this school. It is also near Main Street and all the attractions that the staff told me about. The BBQ was great I ate here. I will stay again soon as soon as I get to travel back to NC
