A little disapponited
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/17/07
The a/c and heaters didn't work properly,we had to call for service several times. The drapes were broken to where you couldn't open and close them to go out on the balcony. Lamp on desk wasn't working. However the staff was very friendly and accomodating and the location was good. I'll look to stay somewhere else next time.

Great place to stay - excellent value
By Mitzi Buchanan, 08/11/05
Spent 8 nights there with my husband and daughter last week. Attentive and welcoming staff - they always knew our names, were helpful, and made us feel comfortable. 1st room was nice but we wanted to stay on a higher floor, so they moved us to a great suite the next day on the 19th floor in a corner room facing Lexington. Very nice. Kitchenette, living room with sofa bed (comfortable), separate bedroom, pillow concierge (great idea), lots of space. Comfy bedding and fluffy towels (Frette) and Aveda products in the bathroom. Nicely stocked fridge and snack tray. Fridge was great for storing bottled water, milk, leftovers, etc. Used the spa and had a massage - very relaxing atmosphere and nice facilities. Great massage therapist. Hotel is mid-town east - convenient location. Many things within easy walking distance or a short cab ride away. 24 hour room service. Very good food - a little pricey but that's to be expected. When you compare room rates, location, service, and the great accommodations, this is one of the best values in Manhattan. Highly recommend The Benjamin Hotel. Will stay there again.

Like a Princess - WOW
By H, 06/07/05
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in the world. They make you feel like family at this little boutique hotel that is located right in the heart of Manhattan. One of the friendliest places I’ve stayed. They really do cater to you and your needs from walking in, to the perfect pillow, to suggesting the best places to be and be seen. Fantastic and elegant without all the pretensions of some other "bigger names". I can't sing their praises enough. Wonderful.

At Home in Midtown
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/31/05
Stayed here for a week, and loved the place. Excellent roomy suite, kitchen area a real plus, and large bedroom, almost like having your own apartment. Excellent Midtown location, plenty of restaurants close by. Very polite, helpful and friendly staff. Just the place to recharge the batteries after a hard days sightseeing. Can't wait to go back.
