awful
By karen, 2/16/12
the front dest clerks need to go back for some customer service training.A hotel stay should be as thou its a home away from home, not being treated as we were bothering someone to just check in.We got to a room with dirty walls, and a view of a brick wall and a garbage dumpster! There are much better hotels or inns in Niagara Falls.

clean, efficient and friendly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/12/11
We drove to see the Falls and after checking out 2 really scummy hotels we were delighted to find this place! The room was clean and modern, the staff was most helpful and the price was reasonable! I don't know why someone would write a bad review about this place, it's a real bargain and a treasure.

Wouldn't Stay Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/23/10
Front Service Desk acted as if we was a bother for even showing up. Not friendly at all. You had to call between certain hours of the day to get a discount on breakfast. Was the first people checking in for the day and they gave me a handicap room. I had better rooms at a motel 6.

Great place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/07
We recently stayed at the Quality Inn during an ice hockey tournament over Thanksgiving. They have a brand new pool and hot tub. The resturant was under renovation, but the lounge area was very nice for meals. They offered a very good Thanksgiving dinnner buffet. Food off of the menu was a very good value. Housekeeping was very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the falls. I travel in excess of 100 nights per year and would rate this as an above average hotel.

Never Again- Beware
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/21/07
We moved to Florida last year and decided to go to Niagara Falls to surprise members of my organization who were there for their convention. Upon arrival we had to pay for the room in full. I requested a room near the elevator since my husband was hit by a car in Feb so excessive walking was an issue.I explained before arrival that we honeymooned in Niagara 3 yrs prior and wanted to celebrate our anniversary; so I ordered champagne in the room upon arrival. I had to remind them & ask them to bring it up before we went up. They left the champagne metal bucket directly on the desk, leaking all over, no tray, no glasses, & I had to clean it up-we drank from plastic cups. The bathtub was filthy and you had to walk into a dark room at night to find a light, none near the door. We were refused service in the restaurant, there were empty tables but were told we're busy so you can wait if you want but it will be a long time. We walked to Denny's (even though I was assured there was a restaurant in the lobby). That night, we had to wait 20 minutes for a drink & I was told they did not have amaretta, I saw someone hand the bottle to the bar maid, but she still served me my second choice. The lining was coming out of the pool, jets in the hot tub broken, & we were chased out 1/2 hour before closing. The gameroom was posted as open till 10 but they were closed a 9 when we went down, they next day they were open but 1/2 the games were broken. We ordered burgers that day and it took 1 hr to get them, & I had to keep going to the bar to check if they were ready cause they said they did not have enough wait staff. That night, we checked at the desk to see if room service was available, they said yes until 10pm. I called at 9:15 & was told they were too busy & hung up on. I had to complain to the desk (again) to get a pizza. They refused to accept my choice priviledge card for points. Their breakfast was horrible, we had to walk to Dennys in the Days Inn to eat everyday (we had no car since we were told there were restaurants in the area and everything was very close). The champagne bucket and napkins I cleaned up the mess with were left in the room 2 days till I complained at the desk regarding that too. When I met with the General Manager, which I had to wait till Friday because he was off, I checked in on Wednesday, I reported the above & much more I didn't even mention, he offered us a refund for one night and promised the room would be cleaned (tub) & our TV would be fixed. This never happened as of Sunday when we checked out. I complained to corporate and they said I should have checked out (even through I was required to pay in full at check in) and no other hotels on the american side were available since the American Legion Convention had all hotels booked. These are only some of the problems we had - I am still planning on bring suit against them if necessary to refund my money since they ruined our vacation. My husbands leg was aching, we had no convenient place to eat and were very uncomfortable. They have a card in the room with a guarantee to not be charged for the room if not corrected in a timely manner. The hotel says that means one night's stay, but there is no mention of one night on the guarantee card. Stay at another hotel, don't ruin your vacation too.

Quality...HA I don't think so
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/20/07
I would not recommend staying at this Hotel...We arrived on a Friday afternoon, no parking was available...upon checking in we found no microwave (as advertised), a bathroom door that didn't work (my son got stuck in the bathroom as well as other family members) unless someone helped you from the outside...the toilet didn't flush until maybe if you were lucky 5-6 flushes into it...we brought these issues to the front desk employees attention, by Sunday when we checked out the problems still weren't fixed!!! The pool, oh boy, would you let your kids swim in a pool so cloudy that you couldn't tell what color the bottom of it was?!?! Oh, and the worst thing of all...not only was my credit card charged, but my debit card was as well...I have now paid over $600 for a two night stay in a room with only one double bed and a broken bathroom!!! I have made several phone calls but yet recieved no call back!!! Please think twice before staying in this horrible establishment that is everything but Quality!!!

Disappointing to say the least!
We just returned from Niagara Falls, New York where we celebrated my daughter's wedding. She had booked two rooms for the event and how sad to see the shape of this hotel. Lack of parking aside, the room's bathroom door was a pocket door that was off the track and you needed a person from the outside to get you out of the bathroom. In addition, the toilet would not flush even after two, three and four attempts. Both of these issues were brought to the staff's attention with no result. The price of the room was the rack rate due to the peak vacation season and at the price of $159 per night one expects higher quality. Also the swimming pool was cloudy and looked very suspect so thus my grandchildren did not swim in the hotel pool...another reason we booked this hotel. The hotel may be close to the falls but please think twice before making a reservation.

Horrific experience
By Susan, 6/7/07
I booked two rooms 4 months in advance, called to confirm the reservations on two different occassions. My family and I drove over 1000 miles to get to the Falls area. When we arrived, ready for something to eat and definitely a shower. Our rooms were not ready. At this time it was 4:30 pm and check in is at 3:00 pm. I had requested for our rooms to be side by side or at least close together. After 1 1/2 hours later trying to check in, we were given rooms on seperate floors, and they weren't the right rooms. I had booked a standard room and a two room suite. Upon entering the rooms, the suite was a standard room with a mic/fridge and they argued that the two room suite didn't exist. After another half hour working with the manager, which by the way was horribly RUDE! We were finally given the two room suite and the standard room on the same floor. Also, I was told they had continental breakfast and was informed they had a pool. There is no continental break...only a restaurant onsite (which by the way was decent) and they pool was being re-tiled and could not use. The family play center was not open and claimed it was seasonal. We visited during June, prime tourist season but still no play center. I could go on forever about our horrible stay, but I won't, Let's just say if you like not having proper maid service, RUDE attitudes from the manager/staff, reservations messed up, then this is the place for you.

We'd never go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/4/07
The best thing about the hotel is the location. It's a block from the falls, so it's very convenient that way. Parking when the hotel is full is a nightmare. Security is virtually non-existent in the hotel. There are cameras on the entrances, but none in the hallways. We had a problem with teen - twenties aged boys riding the elevators, pounding on guests' doors, then jumping on the elevator and disappearing. I reported their suspicious activity to the front desk, who said they'd check into it, but around 11:30 that night, our door was pounded on. The bathroom was tiny, and the sink barely had enough room on either side of it for a toothbrush! There was no towel rack by the sink, and no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Our keys stopped working in the door at least five times during our stay of six nights. Upon checkout, we found we were charged $1.55 for each LOCAL call, which we've never experienced before! There was a computer available for internet use - AT THE COST OF $.25/MINUTE! The restaurant roof was leaking the morning it was raining, and there was a sparrow flying around in the restaurant and eating crumbs from the floor. They made it sound like it's been there for quite a while, but it's not the most sanitary environment for a restaurant. Needless to say, we will not be going back!

Nightmare Hotel
By brock, 6/26/06
I requested handicap room because I have trouble walking. The hotel has 3 handicap parking spots for 200 rooms. I had to park on the street where I couldn't unload my scooter. The room I was assigned was the absolute furtherest from the elevator of any room in the hotel (That was rectified) On our 6 PM return to the hotel the second night we found our room just as we left it. It took about an hour and 3 trips to the front desk to get a housekeeper who arrived without sheets. All of this was blamed on inexperienced personnel.
