St Giles - The Court, New York

I was so impressed with the St. Giles. It is a very stylish boutique hotel. Off the beaten bath but still easily accessible to wherever you want to go. The staff was wonderful! They let me check in early, were extremely helpful and everyone was super nice. I loved the room, which was well decorated and comfortable. I will definitely be back!

This place was great! The room was very large in comparison to what I had been told hotel rooms were like in NY. The staff was incredible - very nice and helpful! It was in a great location! And the Mojitos at the hotel lounge are delicious!! This was my first trip to the Big Apple and I can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed our stay, let us check in early before 10 a.m. , deeply appreciated after a red eye flight. Good food. A little noisy from the street, but the price you pay for a smaller hotel on and a corner room with a view.

I've never been dissapointed by a W Hotel and the W Hotel, the Court in NYC was no exception. The staff was extremely courteous, the rooms were clean and very stylish, their beds are famous, the price was very reasonable, and the overall mood an atmosphere of the place was very swanky.

Ok, I have to say that for a room in NYC, the Urban Suite is enormous. Too bad it was also pretty gross. When I arrived, there were stains on the furniture, crumbs on the floor, dirty walls, and the air conditioner didn't work. The front desk staff was wonderfully nice, but too bad they couldn't also take care of the rooms. I expect a lot from the W chain and run-down furniture and dirty rooms just isn't it. Perhaps if I'd kept the lights as low as they were in the entry and the hallway I wouldn't have noticed.... If you want a huge room and aren't too particular about cleanliness, then this is the place for you. But if you, like me, find paying almost $300 a night to clean up your own stuffy room after the maid leaves a bit too much, then skip this hotel. Chic, maybe. Shabby, most definately.
