87 reviews for Blue Water Manor, Diamond Point
we will go back every year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/01/09
This place is awesome. The bar is just the coolest place with live entertainment that you can't beat. Dan and Ellen do an exceptional job, make you feel like family, love them! I will be recommending this place to everyone I know taking a trip to Lake George.

A 50-50 experience at most.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/09
+'s very nice location, scenic views once outside the room, definitely a rustic and out of the way feel while not being too far from anything. -'s Oh dear, where to start? Hot water lasts 2 minutes at most in a very odd shower. Minimal heat in room. I got hives from the comforter. We had to keep the shades drawn all day for any privacy from close-proximity neighbors. The electric heater was stinky. The lighting was awful and we had to request 2 additional lamps. Seriously False Advertising about breakfast. Walls very thin & could hear neighboring guests watching TV.

Have had 29 family reunions at Blue Water Manor
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/09
They have a bar with nightly entertainment and great restaurant with inside or outside seating with view of Lake George. They have water skiing, tubing, and banana boat rides. The children of all ages love the water sports, campfire singalong, movie night, indoor pool. The Blue Water Manor is located close to the Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. The owners, Ellen and Dan, are very nice people. I met another big group this year, and they had the same experience that we have had for many years. The children have many activities to choose from and you don't have to drive anywhere for food or entertainment.

A little bit of everything!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/09
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to drop a line off and let you know how much we appreciated our stay with you recently. I tried to post a message, to no avail. Feel free to add this to your comments/review page. The staff at Blue Water Manor were great. Especially Pam, who goes above and beyond to make sure that your experience is a great one. The food, activities and scenic views make for an a fun filled vacation. Whether you just want to laze around at the beautiful beach area, or fill your days with water activities, the atmosphere is wonderful. A little bit of everything for every kind of person. We had a wonderful time, and will be sure to visit again. Keep up the good work and in no time the word will spread. Thanks again for a wonderful time. Christina Fanelli

Fabulous Resort!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/15/09
We have had the pleasure of staying at Blue Water Manor since 2003 and always look forward to our next visit. We have enjoyed our visits and strongly encourage a vacation at Blue Water Manor! Dan and Ellen are wonderful hosts and made us feel like part of the family immediately. We've seen much-improved and amazing changes over the past years. And let's not forget Stone Manor Restaurant! Live music, delicious and varied menu, and delightful staff. Weather permitting, we enjoy eating on any of the outside decks overlooking Lake George--it's so peaceful, relaxing and gorgeous! Each year we look forward to staying at Blue Water Manor and strongly encourage others to do the same. No matter the type of accommodation you prefer, whether a cabin or motel room, you'll feel welcome. And, if you're visiting the Lake George area, be sure to enjoy a meal at the Stone Manor Restaurant. We're sure you'll enjoy your stay at Blue Water Manor!

We had a great time.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/09
We have stayed at other places around Lake George and have found this one to be a gem. Yes it needs work but, the saloon was great, what a spectacular old building with the Clam shell fireplace. Excellent entertainment. The food was great, especially the Prime Rib. The Staff were super to us, very helpful. Our shower fauset did not work correctly, we notified the staff and had it resolved in a jiffy. We booked for next year. The atmosphere is old Adarondack resort and this is one of the Best.... we can't wait to return next year.
By alice, 08/25/08
My husband and I enjoyed the hammock most off all, though it was a wedding gift to the owners, we wished there were more of them.Service was excellent at the reception desk,at breakfast and dinner, housekeeping, starbucks coffee around the clock,we wished that there were more vegetarian options, but the staff did as they had promised and made us very special dishes; A five star rating would have been appropriate but we took away 1 star for the "HORRIBLE HORRIBLE" Bartender that seemed pissed at the world everytime we dropped by.Next year when we return if she is there we probably would not hang out in the Tavern. The guys were awesome...................

One True Disappointment!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/21/08
We made the mistake of booking this place based on a newspaper ad. Once we got there???...Well, we forfieted our deposit. There was no way we were going to stay in such a hovel...This place needs a LOT of work. Except for the office and the restaurant, this place is a shantytown...Sorry!!
