Quality Inn & Suites - Ruidoso, Ruidoso

General staff was ok but the owner or manager, whatever he was, was rude and not willing to even come out and talk about our problem. We arrived, checked in, paid cash, unloaded our car and left to go eat. When we came back we were locked out of our room. The girl at the front desk said it was because we did not tell them we had a dog and that there was a 25.00 pet fee. I told her we did declare the dog and had already paid the pet fee. She looked it up on the computer and sure enough, we had paid the pet fee. she went into the little office and talked to a man and when she came out she said she needed a credit card to put on file before she could activate our room keys. The man would not come out and explain why he required credit card information even though we had paid cash and paid the pet fee. We later found out they charged our credit card for a second pet fee and when we contacted them to get it credited, they refused. We had to get our credit card company involved to get this straightened out, but it didn't in any way make up for the way were treated. We felt like criminals. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is apparently ran by incompetent people.

Me and my family of 4 just spent this weekend in Ruidoso Jan 22nd -24th 2010. We were looking for a cheaper place to stay since we were on a budget. Big Mistake choosing Executive Inn & Suites. We weren't expecting much for the price . But what we did get was something we will never forget. Like other reviews the breakfast was sorry. They have a waffle maker, some dry cerel & milk. stale danishes and the bread to make toast was soggy. The morning of checkout we awoke to my daughter asking us what this was she found in between her toes in her bed. To our disgust it was a dried out condem. Her and my son had slept in that bed 2 nights. We had her take a shower and then my son. My wife went down to the front desk and asked for a Manager. The young lady at the desk said he wasn't in but could she help her. My wife asked how often they changed the sheets and she said they only change them after someone leaves. They make the beds up with the same sheets while you stay there. My wife then handed her the condem wrapped up tissue paper. And then told her what had just happened. And that this was not a conversation she or us were ready to have with our 7 year old daughter. The front desk lady was horified when she opened it up and immediatly started apologizing. She said she would call the manager on his cell and see what she could do. She told my wife to throw it way and my wife asked her if she wanted to keep it to show the manager and she said that wouldn't be needed. So we went ahead and got our stuff packed up and went down to check out. She said she had left him a message and he hadn't called back yet. She said she would have him contact us that day. So we drove back home almost 3 1/2 hours and at 6 pm still hadn't heard from him. We call the hotel again and we were told he wouldn't be in till the next day. So this morning we called back and again he wasn't in but the front desk person said he would call us in 15 minutes. The manager called us back and was rude and said he didn't believe that happened because we would have found it the first night. I never though I needed to go and search my hotel bed upon check in to see if there was dired up condems in the sheets. I guess from now on I will. He refused to give us our money back for the hotel and said the only way we would get our money back is if we take him to court. He hung up on us. We called back and he hung up again. So DO NOT EVER STAY HERE unless you like finding condems in your bed. And having a jerk manager calling you a liar. You have been warned so if you stay after reading this review I feel sorry for you.

This was not like most Quality Inns or choice hotels. The front desk people were not too friendly. They said they had a hot continental breakfast, and technically they did, but it was disappointing. A waffle maker and cereal. It is like they go as cheap as possible. They are understaffed on cleaning staff so they don't clean your room until 3:30 or later. Also, when we came to our room it was hot, stinky, and the AC was not on- and it was a hot day. The pool is very nice and warm, but not in the best of shape. The grips on the ladder in the deep end are totally worn off and the ladder is loose and shaky. My 6 year old son fell and I almost did. Finally, there is not an elevator- which is fine for us usually excecpt that I am pregnant with two small children so my husband carried everything upstairs. When I could not find it they said they are probably the only multi-story place in Ruidoso without an elevator. We have stayed a number of places with out family and this was dissapointing just because the customer service was so lacking- it just didn't feel like their customers were tops.

this was just right for us. the register clerk wasnt rude or anything, i just think he could be a little bit more friendlier. he just didnt make you feel like some other places we have been to.

I sent my parents to Ruidoso for their anniversary and rented a room for them here and had nothing but great things to say! Very clean, inexpensive, and close to everything Ruidoso has to offer. Richard

This place was awful! I was charged $200 for a "one room suite", which was actually two ajoined rooms with a couch, small refrigerator, and a tiny microwave. The hotel was recently "remodeled"-the furniture and carpet were new,that's about it. They jacked up the price on this particular weekend due to a baseball tournament they were having in town. Well, I wasn't allowed to check in until 6PM because the rooms weren't clean. I went to the motel around 430PM, and asked why check in time was so late. The manager said he only had one housekeeper because all of his other ones quit. Due to such a late check in, I asked him for some kind of discount on the ridiculous price, but he only hurried the housekeeper and this is what we got: There was rotting food on the nightstand, with ants all over it, the towels were dirty and stained, the refrigerator was not cleaned out, the water was shut off in the middle of the night for several hours, and the bathroom floor was filthy!! AND, the hotel smelled disgusting!!

Everything was fine. It is a nice hotel. It wa well located for our purposes, service was good, room was clean and comfortable. We woudl have eaten in their restaurant except it seemed significantly overpriced. However there area plenty of other good neaby options for eating.

This hotel was great. Newly remodeled, the rooms were absolutely beautiful and very,very clean. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was great with such a wide variety of options. If you ask me the price was too low for the value. We will defintely stay here every time we are in Ruidoso. We will reccomend this hotel to all of our friends and family!

Like others said, great place for those with kids because of indoor pool. Room was fine.
