Way overrated

We decided on this B & B because of the article in USA Today naming it one of the top Romantic B&B in the country. The owners must know the writer of the article(gives new meaning to never believe what your read), because it is pretty run down. Our casita was very dirty, and it looked like they had some water damage in the bathroom, and the ceramic tile(throughout the place) the grout was a blackish green, and I am guessing it was supposed to be clay color. I wore slipper the whole stay- the comforter was very worn- and the place in general was rundown. The place has been for sale for years, and I am guessing the owners have decided NOT to spend anymore money on upkeep. It is also located out of main downtown, which requires you to drive everywhere. Find a place in old Taos village. A Much better solution.

Worst experience EVER!

The woman who runs this B&B is horribly rude and condescending. She acted put out and short with every little thing. Do not be fooled by the "access to a common room" we were chased out and chastized because there may have been guests in one on the rooms that connects to the main room. All we were doing was having a small snack and visiting. I am shocked that a place with high end prices would be so rude to their guests, apparently they are not concerned with repeat business.
