Overall a good place!
Our experience at the Wellesley Inn was overall a good one. The rooms, hallways and the lobby were clean. The breakfast wasnt so bad, with bagels, cereal, cinnamon buns, fruit and juice. Actually pretty good considering some places just put out a couple boxes of Dunkin Donuts and coffee. The room we had was the 2 double bed room, and it was very spacious. We didnt get to use the pool because we went in the fall but the room had a sliding door leading to the pool and parking area (which was very convenient). It seemed like all the rooms had these doors. The location is good, its not right ON the main street so its not loud, but its not too far from it either.
The only problem we had was that the housekeeper just refused to vaccum our room when we requested her; she said that they do it every other day. Maybe that is the policy they have, but if a guest gives a special request maybe they can accomodate that. They dont clean your bathroom everyday either. The other thing they can do is to put a change machine and a laundry detergent dispensing machine in the laundry room. People that are travelling usually dont carry detergent with them, so that will be a convenience.
So, again, its a good hotel for the price you pay. It's a 2 star hotel, and pretty decent. If you're looking for 5 star service and quality, well, then stay at a 5 star hotel!
