BEST WESTERN The Inn at Ramsey, Ramsey

The kingsize beds in this motel were so wonderful. We loved it. But we shopped for wireless internet which my husband needs for business and I like for personal use. We could not get a signal in our room nor from the breakfast room--only from a table in the lobby. Come on--in this age, people want real wireless internet in their rooms. The front desk was of no help. We would not recommend it for this reason alone. You advertize it--and do not deliver. Get an It specialist and get wireless internet--it doesn't cost that much.

As soon as I walked into the room I was hit by the stink of insect repellant but that is better than roaches running around but it was a very strong smell and it did not go away or get weaker. The first room had no phone so they moved us. The second room's toilet was broken and we moved again. The third room had no TV so we moved again. I did not feel that this hotel was dirty because they are still renovating and it was obvious everything was pretty new. Also, I specifically asked the maid to clean the room for us and she did. I think sometimes you just have to be assertive. I knew the room would be clean if I requested that it be cleaned. The front desk people were very nice. We got comped a room for our troubles. I have had worse nights definitely.
