IF YOU'RE GAY, DONT STAY

Upon checking into this lodge, my wife and I, we are a same sex couple, were questioned if one bed would truly be appropriate. After showing us to our room. Priscilla said the management would feel more comfortable with us using the side entrance to come and go. Once we entered the room, we were hit with a musty, mildewy smell and inquired if the air conditioning unit would dissipate the smell. I turned on the air and was pushed aside and told not to put it so high. Priscilla then told us we could leave. Then she demanded we leave or she would call the police and have us arrested for trespassing. I asked her to return to the room will validation of a refund to our credit card. She arrived back at our door with her father, the owner, drunk and screaming and yelling that he did not want our kind to stay at the hotel. "who plays the king and who plays the queen" he wondered. "I dont want your dirty money here" he continued. Walking out of the hotel room, still with no refund, Priscilla took a swing at my wife's head, and was told "dont you touch me." Priscilla responded with, "dont worry i wont touch your ugly queer self and catch your disease. I immediately called 9-1-1 and was connected with the Jackson Police Department. Upon learning of my location, i was told to leave the building and lock myself in the car if necessary while i wait for the police to arrive. Sargeant Sean Cowland arrived and treated us with the respect and kindness we are used to in this area of NH. He arranged for us to receive accomodations at a very favorable rate, especially for a holiday weekend, and a refund of our payment. A formal police report, including written statements, was logged in and we are contemplating filing charges against these people for the violation of our civil rights in the form of a hate crime.
