horrible
By Paul O, 05/10/09
This was only place open due to college conference in the area. When we arrived, we noticed that parts of the building appeared to be falling off. The employee seemed to have trouble giving me a cost for a room once he saw I was not local. He kept changing the price as I asked questions and then as I was actually driving away, he came out of the office and yelled a lower price: "How about fifty-five???" I thought how about we hurry up and get out of here while we still can. Allowing a group of thugs to congregate at the corner of the parking lot does not make the situation any better either. I really hate sleeping in a car, but in this case I would agree with another post here and do that instead. Or better yet just drive a few miles west to Vermont and stay there.

Money's worth.
By Chad, 04/20/09
It's worth the stay, the place doesn't claim to be a five star. The office is open, and though certain people that may work there aren't overly polite, some are. The outside isn't exactly what I'd call impressive, but the rooms are no worse than what you'd expect. I stay here currently and choose to clean my own room. They keep the vacuum readily available, and are always happy to provide trash bags and the like. It's located very close to the center of Keene, and there are stores all around. The area as a whole isn't spectacular, so you should know what type of people are going to be around. Certainly not anyone or anything I would consider to be intimidating, just a bit sub par.

yuck yuck yuck
By angela, 01/04/09
i worked here in 1999 for a few months before starting college... the bedsheets were changed only if they were obviously dirty.... same with the towels. everything always smelled of cigarette smoke..... stains of the mattresses, trash under beds, yucky place. after my shift of "cleaning" 10-20 rooms i would go home and take a 30minute long shower i felt so gross. one room was infested with headlice from previous occupants.. please don't stay here unless its an emergency,,,, and even then i recommend bringing your own bedding, and several cans of Lysol. flip flops for the shower are essential.

Crack-head motel with prostitute pleasures
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/03/08
This place is a real class act. The office manager burned out his front teeth with a crack stem that I found underneath my pillow. The whores waiting for their John's were quite elegant though. Overall, I recommend a police raid!!

Terrifying!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/07/08
We stayed here because it was the only motel in town. What we did NOT expect was the fact that both boxsprings in our room were stained with TONS OF BLOOD. Yes, it looked human, and yes, I am serious. People had written their names IN the blood. The mattresses had be turned in a feeble attempt to hide the stain - looked like a murder had been commited. Room was filthy, bathroom was like something from a stephen king horror film. Scary place full of strange, sad looking people who would watch you openly. If you want to wake up dead, stay here.

Disgusting! Do NOT stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/08
This place is literally awful! Please, I beg you.. Do NOT stay here. It smells. The place is about to fall over. Locals do not stay here because they know how filthy and disgusting it is. Please be cafeful, you could end up with a terrible disease. The people are rude and the buildings need to be torn down. Again, do NOT stay here. As another person said, you are better off staying in your car.

You're better off sleeping in your car
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/08
Which is what i ended up doing. Filthy rooms, bed linens that look like they have never been changed, rude staff and the feeling like the building was about to fall down makes me wish I had stayed at the nice place on Main st. instead. But it was late and all i was looking for was a place to grab a couple hours of sleep before hitting the road again. I wish i could give it negative stars. Hopefully the city will condemn this place.

Don't stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/07
This palce was filthy, the management was rude, and the air conditioning didn't work. Bring a pair of flip flops for the shower so your skin doesn't have to come in contact with the floor.

down hill
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/07
The best thing about the motel is price and location. It does not offer much of anything else. Each time I stay there it seems like the quality of life has gotten worse including the overall cleanliness and the service the motel provides to their guess. At times it appears that they are waiting for someone to take over the property as the current overseers just do not seem to care about the motel any more.
