Anchorage Inn Rochester, Rochester

The hotel is a breath of fresh air! I ended up extending my stay an extra day. The staff was friendly, the price was reasonable, and the hotel is clean!! I stayed at this hotel because of the great ratings it had on trip advisor and wasn't disappointed. They offer and a cute breakfast with fresh Belgian Waffles and their wireless internet actually works. I would definitely stay again and will. Thanks

I never got a chance to stay in this hotel. I booked the reservation through their website and got a confirming email. I called two days later and was told by a very rude person that they had no such reservation because they had lost power. Instead of having me book over the phone, he told me to call back. When I called back two days later and there was still no reservation he referred me to the General Manager at another site. When I called him I was told by another rude person that he was busy and would call me back, which he never did. There are too many hotels in the world to put up with the rudeness that I had to endure. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Luckily I found another hotel on very short notice to stay in during the peak season. It may not be as good, but at least the person on the phone was very friendly.
