worst hotel experience ever

I reserved a set of rooms for a team. They charged me for more rooms than I reserved and double charged my room. When I tried to talk with the manager, they did not listen or cooperate. The manager was very rude. He was also difficult to understand and I think used that to his advantage to not comply. Also, the heater did not work in one persons room, the door lock did not work in another and the internet wireless did not work well. Avoid if at all possible. The nearby Best Western is where I would stay next.

This is a HoJo?

At first appearance,it looks like a very cheap, old motel. It doesn't look like any money has been put into it in a very long time (cracks in walls everywhere; outside hallways are very dirty; carpets in room were filthy; in general, it looks pretty bad). It was very difficult to communicate with the man on duty (he didn't speak much English). He didn't seem to know exactly what to do when I checked in. Don't believe it when they say the pool in heated! Ice cold! By far, the best thing about this motel in the location. You are right in the middle of South Lake Tahoe. Lots of places to go very close by. All in all, I don't think that I would go back here.

Great Location but double charged us!

This is a great location but as stated before you had better like to sleep on a rock. My husband and I were both very sore on our drive home. Also the owners do not speak english and double charged our atm card and we had asked to pay half of the amount in cash as we had won some money and wanted to pay the rest on our atm well they not only didnt take the cash off they double charged the account. It is better than the no tell motels but it is not high class thats for sure its on the bottom of the HoJo chain.

Great place to stay, Very nice service. Close to where we want to go around the Lake. very close to Casino. Love the place, will come again. Thank you

OK for the price

I've stayed at this hotel a year or so ago and I returned but was disapointed in the changes. There were large cracks in the roof of the room I stayed in, the A/C unit went out while I was there and had to be fixed, the bathroom floor was pretty dirty. When the maids came to clean my room, they didn't clean it, they just re-made my bed. As I was watching them, they did not change my sheets until I asked them to. They did not clean the shower or sink, they just remade the bed and left. The bed was very hard. I was there for 4 days and I'm very sore still. I don't think I'll be returning next time.

I'll Never Go There Again!

My family and I will never go to this hotel again. We were very disappointed. When we went to the front desk to check-in, the owners could hardly speak any English. Then we got into our room after walking past over-flowing trash bins and our number of our room was about to fall off the door. When we got inside, everything looked great, until that night. The matress was hard as a rock and the pillows were all hard and lumpy. All throughout the night, my family and I kept waking up because of all the tossing and turning that we did to just get somewhat comfortable. When it was morning, we all got up and we were all very achey. When we wanted to use the coffee maker, we found left-over coffee in the pot! We were appalled. We will never go there again!
