Nevada Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

terribe horrible awful! Even the hotel shuttle bus driver wouldn't drop us off in FRONT of the hotel instead they dropped us off in the back of the hotel and told us to walk there ourselves. There was many Bums/homeless sitting/walking everywhere in front of the hotel. The hotel elevator's mirror(inside the elevator) was cracked and it was patched up with masking tape. The first room has pails everywhere (for leaking roof) so I had to request for other room (at that time LV hotels are FULL couldn't find any other available room so had to stay there which is a BAD IDEA). The second room - outdated TV with dials, holes in the wall, used & dirty soap bar, tiny "towels" (really is a face cloth), no heat (Jan and it was cold), no "blanket" just a worn & dirty sheet with bed spread (cover), mismatched lamps, sliding door leading to balcony couldn't shut properly and actually it was not really a balcony it's like two inches platform with fence. We had no choice so we decided to sleep in our full clothing including socks and covered the pillow with my own clean shirt. The name of it was Nevada Hotel & Casino... wait a minute where's the casino?? I only saw a few slots, that's it and you call it a casino? cough cough. should I say more? never never again!

roaches, I did not like. smell was bad. not taken care of. The service was fine, just checked in, person was nice. No real casino, and the advertisement says Hotel and Casino.

The smell radiating from the front door was unbelievable. I couldn't last more than 3 minutes in the place. There were dirty sheets and cockroaches. They should charge admission for the bugs and stench, not the room stay!

I was there for about 10 mins, and the smell of the room was almost making me puke, so I took out my precautioinary black light, so to not sleep in someone's wet spot, and well, it looked as though I was at the museum, and the theme was "our glowing galaxy". I then puked as I ran out the door. Sorry to the room service that had to clean it up, wait, no I am not sorry...

I called the hotel two weeks after my booking the one night stay and was told the hotel was not going to honor the confirmation I had with Yahoo Travel. I had to book another room at over 4 times my original booking. I am suppose to receive the difference back from Yahoo Travel.

Haven't seen more unfriendly hospitality staff in my life. Reached hotel to find out they cancelled all reservations including myself. No information conveyed to me. I would recommend everyone to stay away from this hotel - they can cancel confirmed reservations at their whims and fancies. I asked for reasons of cancellation in writing, they wouldn't do that. Verbally, the lady at the reception said that they have rooms available at their price and not at the price I reserved the room. I had reserved the room at USD 59 for the night more than a month back and she said I had to take a minimum of 2 nights at USD 264 a night plus taxes.

Everything from above but dont forget the brick walls and roaches, yes roaches. I was there for a record breaking 10 minutes. No refund was ever given

I've stayed at dozens of hotels in Las Vegas, ranging from budget hotels to penthouse suites. This was, by far, the worst hotel I've ever stayed at - in or out of Vegas. The view from our room was another building a few feet away, and a dirty alley at street level. The television was so out of date, it had dials. There was no phone in the room. The headboard was falling off the wall. Even the hangers weren't standard hotel hangers - they were from local dry cleaners. And they're "casino" was just a few poker machines. Don't even consider staying here. Ever.
