Oh yeah we will come back.
By Sam, 02/04/10
My family loves this place, the kids enjoy the nice warm pool and the price fits our budget, its easy to find and the staff are so nice. The only thing is they need king and queen beds. The rooms are always neatly arranged and always clean. Great job Red Roof Inn.

clean?????
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/07
We stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Billings Montana. The first thing we noticed was that the corners of the room hadn't been vacumed. When I took a shower the next morning, there was a used wash cloth from the last client hanging over the shower curtain. We were staying a second night and because I believe in conserving water, we left the note that said just make up the bed...well that is all that was done, the room was not vacumed the sink was not cleaned. It is too bad that the cleaning is not being done as the Red Roof Inn seems to be a newer medium priced motel in Billings. Maybe the manager could examine the rooms after they have been "cleaned" and suggest to the housekeepers what needs to be done.

Please beware, this hotel is FILTHY!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/07
Frist of all,I paid $75.00 a night so one would expect a decent room. The carpet in the room was obviously not vacuumed, crumbs visible when you walk in. There were crumbs on the dresser and the nightstand, and beside both beds were droppings of food. There was a brown smear by one of the headboards in clear view. I had hairs stuck to my blankets but clean sheets. I complained to managment and made her have housekeeping change ALL the linens and vaccume the room. I could tell she was embarassed and would have the issue addressed. With the fair being in town, all other hotels were sold out, so I had no choice but to stay. Upon my return that night, I combed over the bed linens in both beads... they still had the same stains. It seems that housekeeping simply made the beds and vaccumed so fast, there were STILL crumbs in clear view. At this point I was so pissed- off and irate, I stormed up to the manager and told her that nothing was done! She showed much frustration with the housekeeping and told me that she would go in with them and make them do their job. Why they aren't cleaning and making things sanitary baffles me, as they get paid to clean! I came back later to the room being vacuumed and what seemed to be clean linens. Beside the beds were STILL crumbs in clear view and the brown smear still there. Okay. this was a LITTLE better. But no, still hairs stuck to both bed's blankets! I am begining to think that they DIDN'T even wash the blankets, after this being the third round of complaints. Needless to say, I complained ONCE AGAIN, for them to only lower my rate to $55 a night, and hand deliver warm blankets, just out of the dryer. I would NOT recommed this hotel to anyone. The houskeepers are very unprofessional, and do not know how to do their job. A Motel 6 would have been cleaner. I do not see how stains on the walls or filthy carpet can just be overlooked, as it is in plain view! What it comes down to is the housekeeping being too lazy to clean the proper way, and managment clearly letting them do it. NOT RECOMMENDED, I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!!!!!

Will Go Back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/21/07
Nice, clean cheap room. Service was good, and it was easy to find. We will stay again when we go in June. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The only draw back was there were no cups for the coffee in the morning. Although we didn't go down for coffee until after 8:00 a.m., so we were not real upset when there were no cups.

We'll be staying at the Motel 6
By ronald, 12/17/06
Our room was dirty and smelled as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We had 2 washcloths and 2 hand towel, but no bath towels. The bedspreads were absolutely filthy. We could here the neighbors TV all night. My son had to call us in the middle of the night with an emergency and somehow they patched another young man into our conversation. He said they were suppose to transfer him to another room. His quote "This isn't cool at all." We'll never stay here again.

Nastiest place ever. never going back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/21/06
This was the worst experience ever. First our keys wouldn't let us in the locked building. The next set of keys wouldn't let us in our room, the third set of keys woudln't let us in the pool. Finally got a set of keys that worked for all. Grasshoppers in the hall way, when time for bed, the blanket under the comforter had cigarette burns in it and to top it off.... The sheets were dirty in both beds. I will never stay and don't recommend anyone else staying there either. Also, my daughter (5 years old) had to go to the bathroom before we checked in. I asked to use the closest bathroom which was the employee one. It was the dirtiest place ever, no toilet paper, actual dirt on the counter tops. I turned around and had her squat outside in an open area.

Good room at a good price
By Kimberly, 05/16/05
If you're looking for a good room at a good price, this is it! Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff courteous, and there was even a pool! Plus free coffee. Conveniently located south of the freeway and close to the main artery of King Avenue, the Red Roof Inn is a great choice for budget travelers. Oh yea, and kids stay free :)
