Little Bighorn National Battlefield is 60 miles away, Yellowstone National Park is a 2 hour drive, and Glacier National Park is about a 4 hour drive. Poor Conference Facilities

Held a conference at this hotel in October. Conference room wasnt ready on the day of the event, sound system didn't work, food wasn't good at all. Sales person in charge of our event wasn't any help. Poor overall service!!!! We will never book another conference at this facility again. If you want a successful conference I suggest you go someplace else.

great place to stay

I was nervous to stay here with all the bad reveiws. It seems to have changed dramatically since then. The food in the restaurant was tasty, and the rooms were very nice. I stay in a lot of the holiday inns around the country and this one has great people workn for them. very nice! would come back if visiting the area again

Don't go near the swimming area

Enjoyed our ladies retreat. Rooms were nice and beds comfortable. A few ladies decided to enjoy the hot tub the first night. We did not go near the swimming area after that night. The cement floor was moldy , a green and black looking mold all over. Not just in one spot or two but all over. I looked at a picture on line of the swimming area. It was a good thing they took a picture of it with flowers covering most of the picture. I have never seen a pool area with that much growth. This appears to be quite a health risk. Water is pooled all around as splashed out of the pool making you wonder what the pool water contains.

Great Value

I will stay here next time I'm in Billings. I had stayed here years ago, it has greatly improved. Clean, great bed, pillows, towels and great service. We stayed here 3 nights along with other family members. The workout equipment needs updating but besides that it was great.

We were a little nervous after reading the negative reviews which were all proven wrong during our recent visit for the International Mustang Meet over the Labor Day weekend. The rooms were clean, comfy, well appointed and had the best beds we've slept in for a long time. Although we were not in a tower room, the rooms we had were all very nice. All of the staff we encountered were polite and friendly and any service we had was excellent Our only negative was the 'steak house' in the hotel which was a dissapointment. The prices were high for Billings, and not good value or quality. We would recomend rather than eat in the hotel, you go across the interstate to the Texas Road House... now that's a steak house! Otherwise the Grand Montana was better than the older reviews might lead you to suspect. We'd stay or recomend this property anytime.

How pleased we were...

We could not have asked for nicer people, cleaner rooms, better food, or a more helpful crew! We needed a schuttle to the airport EARLY, and they had one at 0415! We had a last min. flight cancellation and had to find a motel. We are SO lucky they found this one for us! We certianly would recommend it!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE

The staff and so called manager were very rude and unhelpfull. They left my wife and 6 year old standing in the lobby for over 2 hours. I had to make several calls to 1-800-holiday to even get the ridiculous manager to let them in the room which was booked with priority points. The day time manager was not much better when I called to complain the next day. This all took place while there was a blizzard going on, and the manager told my wife and child there is nothing he can do so just stay someplace else. I will never stay at another Holiday Inn anywhere ever. Oh and there rooms were dirty and the rest of the staff was also rude

Don't Eat here

We live in the local area and made reservations with another couple to have dinner in their Steakhouse on New years Eve. This was a pretty good restaraunt in the past - not any more! Only one other table occupied at 7:00 pm. A CONSTRUCTION CREW WAS JACKHAMMERING THE FLOOR IN AN ADJUOINING ROOM!! You could not carry on a conversation. Ordered a bottle of wine. The manager with the key to the wine locker was not available. It arrived 40 minutes later. Food was okay. We felt sorry for the waitreess. Will never return here for a meal.

Comfortable & Inviting

The Holiday Inn was a very inviting home-away-from home like enviroment with a kind and caring staff. It was really hot outside when we arrived so it was great to get inside to our room that was already cooled. I'd been here years before but am sure the hotel has been renovated since then, very nice.

Nothing to write home about

Well first I had requested a microwave in my room, they said they would see what they could do. 2 days later still no word, I gave up. Then my clock radio would not work, called front desk, they said they would have someone to replace it. One hr. later I took the radio to the front desk myself, then still had to wait another 30 min, T.V.'s are small and too dark cannot adjust color yourself had to wait for a bellman to come and adjust it for me.. still havent figured that one out!!
