Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, Kansas City

I stayed at the KSMO Marriott Country Club Plaza Oct 27-30 for a conference. The room was filthy! There were cookie/cracker crumbs on the bed and sofa! The room looked like something out of the 1970's. Do they ever refurbish the rooms? $14 a day for parking and $9.99 for wireless internet in the room? Even Super 8 gives free internet! When we arrived their computer was down. They gave us a room that had a man sleeping in it! Imagine his reaction at 2 am when we came in his room! I heard "I am sorry, this isn't the Marriott way about 20 times!") When we left the hotel, the parking attendant was harassing me to pay the $56 in parking, which I already had paid on my hotel bill. I had to wait for him to verify this - he wouldn't look at my hotel bill. Can you say, NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!?

We got in, the people at the front desk were rude, We had never been to this hotel before.. parking was bad and had to pay $20.00 for a night of parking. Hotel staff did nothing about the noise in the next room. Beds were horrible you would sink into the middle of them. Will Never go back

we went at christmas and the view of the plaza was amazing. also they have a van that will take you and drop you off and come and pick you up at any spot around the plaza! great value, wonderful bedding, and very comphortable bed! also while in KC check out the peppercorn duck club- it is an amazing romantic dinner spot secondly GATES bbq-'nuff said

This hotel was great, the view from the 8th floor was beautiful. The Concierge service was not as great as I had anticipated and the room was not really any different than any other Marriott that I had stayed in but it was twice as expensive because it was on the Private Concierge floor. I would have liked to see a few more ammenities for this price but overall it was a great hotel and the access to the city was perfect!

The service was superb. The manager was very nice and always helpful. The parking garage was really hard to park in (too compact, and not enough free spaces). Parking is $7 a day (not too bad). The room was clean and had a decent view. The location is perfect. We walked down to the Plaza to eat, shop, and go to the movies.

i have stayed at this hotel 3-4 times and now. service is great the staff is wonderful. the dining room is great and the wait staff is efficient. i will stay there everytime i am on buisness or pleasure.

No dislikes at this time I enjoyed all to see and come. Site seeing and the weather were a little odd I will pick another season to visit to understand the best and worst time to visit.

I realy like staying at this hotel. The location coundn't be better, just a block from the Plaza. Service is outstanding, employees very friendly. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are a little small but that is about the only complaint I can come up with. An excellent value.

I like the people who are friendly and helpful. The location is close to shopping, has convention facilities, enclosed indoor clean swimming pool, and close to great evening entertainment. The restaurants offer great food at good prices, good bars, and there are also lots of dining facilities nearby with many types of ethnic foods. One can take a horse-drawn carriage ride, canoe on the riverbank or a very special luxury is staying over the Holiday season when the Plaza is glowing with lights and happy shoppers. It is truly a luxury to come "home" for the Holidays! I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time and did not dislike anything. The rooms were very clean, with a spa, very romantic. Room service was excellent and speedy. The service desk associates were very gracious getting us into our room and taking care of departure. The maid service was A+ They treated us for a romantic wekend and we enjoyed it very much. We Thank you for your service.
