AWFUL!
First of all, I would like to say when my friend and I first went to the hotel to check out their suits for a bachelorette party for a VERY specific date, April 25th, the staff was so helpful and the price was great. We left to see other hotels but in the end we chose this place and booked it over the phone...boy do I wish I could turn back time. So Sunday the 19th I was balancing my checkbook and verifying transactions online when I noticed that I was billed for the hotel room... Due to this EARLY and UNAUTHORIZED transaction, my bank account was negative. Thanks Quality Inn and Suites. So I called the hotel and said you guys charged me early...they said no, we didn't. You booked it for the 18th. I was furious. Tom, the man I spoke with, said there was no way they could have made that mistake. I later WROTE the manager an email regarding this. NO RESPONSE. I called the next day. NO PHONE CALL BACK. RUDE AND UNCALLED FOR. I no longer wanted to stay at this anti-customer service establishment. When I asked for a refund Tom said I couldn't have one but I could still have it on the 25th...I had no choice but to stay there or I would have been out that money. Plus, we had been planning on the 25th all along for this IMPORTANT event and I was worried we wouldn't be able to find a room anywhere else in such a small time frame. As for my bank account, because of the HUGE mistake done by Mike Quinn, the man who booked my room, I have no access to ANY of my funds for about a week until the bank clears all this up. ( US Bank told me specifically that my overdrafts were a DIRECT reslut of Quality Inn and Suites) My friends and I stayed there this past Saturday and the staff had their shirts untucked and looked so unprofessional. The rooms were clean but one wall had this huge smear on it and was pretty gross. My friends and I will NEVER EVER stay there ever again... even if offered a free room, I would not stay there in a million years. I am telling everyone I know about this awful hoteI and hopefully they will follow suit.
I know the manager is going to respond to this saying that their employees verify each reservation but you know what, MICHAEL GALER? They did give me a confirmation number but it was BOOKED WRONG AND MIKE MESSED IT UP...not me. I know what day I wanted and what I CLEARLY said when I visited the hotel and when I called that very day. Outright ridiculous! Also, thanks for your courteous phone call back. You are so professional. Never book a room at this POORLY run place.Thank you for your time.
