nice for area
By Brenda, 5/12/10
I have stayed at this hotel more than once. never had walked into a dirty room.outdated though Not once had rude customer service. My only complaint is that its over priced. i expected breakfast to be included. It was being renovated during our last stay. There are people staying there long term basis probably contracters i recommend kicking them out, then they had peple playing basketball that were not staying there. so up the security start being a lil rude when needed i guess, throw in full breakfast and i would pay the 89..00 a night to stay there!!

It's not the Warldorf Astoria but it's fine.
By Juliette, 11/9/09
Let me take these one by one Service: I complained: A little too much air fresher was used in my room. I could hear the alarm clocks on either side of me beeping The wireless internet wasn't working when I got there. Except for the air freshener which took a while to dissipate they accommodated my complaints rather quickly but clearly they seemed to feel I was a pain in their behinds. Cleanliness: Bed was clean, floor was clean, tub was clean, coffee maker was clean, micro fridge was clean. No dust. No finger prints on the mirrors...The room was older ...but no denying it was CLEAN. Location: relative. The location was good for me. It might not be good for you. It's near a set of train tracks ... . The train runs frequently. I It's near a hospital. It's on the highway. Value: They have tiers of prices so the more expensive rooms are going to be the nicer rooms . I had an $80 a night room. I think it was a bit high for the town but I've stayed in similar hotels in other towns for 3 times that price. For me to determine the value I would have to stay at every hotel in town and make that assessment. Note: I left my keys in my car trunk and one of the hotel staff knocked on my door in the morning to let me know. It seems to me to be rather safe! side comments...didn't even see the pool. didn't eat in the restaurant. but I DID eat at Bozo's Seafood Market on Ingalls Ave. Quirky little eatery but by far the best shrimp sandwich I ever had in my life.

Ugggggggah

This motel should be bull dozed. It has outlived its function as a lodging facility with everything worn out and in disrepair. It is of the 1970's vintage and grossly over priced for the quality offered. I agree with "Southern Mississippi's worst".

I will never go back terrible food
By BBBBBBBBBBBBB, 12/31/08
What used to be considered one of the best restaurants in Pascagoula is a terrible disappointment I just spent $50 for a seafood platter and a steak dinner the seafood platter was disgusting I could not even eat it it tasted like it was cooked yesterday pulled out of her refrigerator and microwaved it was way over salted, sitting in greese, and basically the worst seafood platter I ever had, no hush puppies, cold soggy french fries, the salad that came with it was nothing but green lettuce and a very small amount of it rateing restaurant on a five star scale they do not even rate one star terrible at rather it Burger King and I hate Burger King

Southern Mississippis worst
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/11/08
First let me start out with the fact that tey gave us a room we did not reserve. Then when we switched to the king size bed they put us on the other side where there are two freight trains that run every hour on the hour, blowing their horns every hour. It's really old looking with these big windows, no climate control at all. Both rooms we stayed in had broken heater/ac units. Our NEWLY remodeled room was dirty, the sheets didn't stay on the bed and the matterase pad kept bunching up underneath us, aswell as the cigarette burns on the sheets. I didn't like this hotel at all.

General Mgr.Needs To Learn Customer Relation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/18/07
First let me say,all the employees were great. However the gen. mgr. Sue Harrey has a lot to be desired. First she has to learn how and were to discuss problems with customers.(not in front of other customers) Second she has to learn there policy. There internet policy (which has changed after my problem)Pet policy was,"Maximum of 45 lbs."(now is 15 lbs.)After checking in (next day)Sue said 15 lbs. When I said that I was told 45 lbs. she said no and "I am the Manager." When I booked the the room I was told 45 lbs.

Location and excellent food.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/13/06
Very friendly, very nice staff. When I was there in 2004 the food was excellent!! Don’t know if they have the same chef. There are newer rooms in the back of the hotel with fridge/microwave. I've tried three other hotels before coming to this one. It is by far the best.
