Comfort Inn University, Hattiesburg

My husband and I was in town visiting with our daughter who is a student at USM. We went to several hotels looking for a clean place to stay with a reasonable rate. When I went inside the comfort inn the environment was very clean and welcoming but I thought the price was a little steep so I started to check around at some other hotels. The manager stated "you won't find another hotel as clean as ours with great service for the price you'll have to pay". And I must admit he was right so after checking two other places we ended up staying here. My husband and I had a wonderful time and it was like we were on our honeymoon. The staff made us feel like we were at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking a nice, clean, attractive hotel and a good night's stay.

We were in town for business and had our travel trailer with us. We parked close to our room and during the night time hours it was broken into and vandalized! Upon realizing this the next morning we called the front desk no offers of help or apologies! All she said is I will call the cops. We called the front desk back to get a late check out and she acted like this put her out. Again never asked if we were ok or if our property was. I couldn't believe we didn't even get an apology! The night of our arrival the room did not have a remote. I called the front desk and he said we could come get it or he could bring it over....we said we could come get because we were running to pick up some food. He was extemely pushy once I went to pick it up on going to our room to hook it up and I had to repeadly tell him NO! I finally had to tell him our dog would bite and that is all they keep him from going over. It was a horrible experience and I will never stay there or at another Comfort Inn again!

The grounds were very attractive and everything about the hotel was clean and comfortable. Good continental breakfast and free cocktail hour in the evening. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I was visiting the city of Hattiesburgh Mississppi for a golf tournement and I had the choice to stay at the Comfort Inn. The staff were very nice and polite. The staff always sought to please the customer. The breakfast was nicely displayed and all the food was at its correct temputure. The room that I lived in was not that clean. The hair dryer in the bathroom had hair and lint in the blower parts. the floors in the room was clean, but the room did smell fresh. I was running bath water and I noticed the water was yellow. I think I did not get my money worth for the room was not clean. The housemaid was very polite and nice. If it was not for the hair in the blow dryer and the yellowing of the water, my stay would have been better. The parking space is excellent and the location was excellent. With the correction of two problems, I would consider staying at Comfort Inn again.
