Don't Stay Here!

This motel was once part of the Best Western chain; it was sold a couple of years ago and has been let to become very shabby. The office is CLOSED and unmanned after 10:30pm, there is no one to help if there is any problems after that time. It doesn't seem like anyone is interested in keeping it up. With broken window frames, broken pop machines, questionable stains, and unwrapped drinking glasses...

just an old Best Western

I was in St. Louis Park, MN on business and it was the only place within walking distance. This place was formerly an old Best Western. Single room rate was $69 which isn't bad in in Minneapolis. The room did come with a hair dryer, iron and coffee maker. It had no HBO or internet hook-up. It's not a place I would normally like to stay, but it worked for one night. Like I said, its just an old Best Western that hasn't been updated, so you decide.

Won't be back.

Dislike: Grease stained bathtowels, showerhead that came only up to my chestplate, lack of control on the air conditioner, smell of smoke and "old-lady" scent in the room & overall bathroom size of a Geo Metro. Before I forget the lack of service at night - no one on staff at 11:00 pm, we had to wait for someone to drive over to fix our keys so we could enter our room (20 minutes). Likes: Location - great location for a top of the line hotel. The people & business owners of this town have spent a lot of money to build up Excelsior Blvd (except here).
