They have the nicest people working the front desk. They were very accommodating and very sweet. They housekeepers are also very friendly, which im not really used to. They were willing to help me carry my luggage and didnt seem to mind when i asked them for extra towels or coffee or anything. They actually seemed happy to help. I really liked the room to. It was big and had a nice kitchen and a very comfortable bed. and i was surprised to learn the couch was a pull out. That came in handy when I had a friend stay over. My favorite part of my stay was that even though the hotel staff is primarily women the 2 men i did see working there were HOT. lol. One was a front desk guy and i think the other was the boss. I forgot their names though. Hopefully if/when i go back i will see them again. xD but i HIGHLY recommend this hotel. and dont forget to tip the housekeepers. they are so nice and such hard workers, i think they deserve a tip once in a while.

My students and I had the privilege of staying at the East Lansing Residence Inn last summer during our North American Field Study Research Trip, which was based at MSU. We all had a wonderful stay and found the rooms more than comfortable and the staff members so caring and friendly that they made us feel like family. We were sorry we were not able to spend more time at the RI to take advantage of the many facilities but we had a very full schedule of events and field trips. This summer I will again be bringing students to the USA from Okinawa. The group last year only numbered 10 but this year I may have about 26 students. I hope we will still be able to stay at the RI and that the great staff members will still be there! Greetings to all of them/you from Meio University.
