Days Inn Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor

NO ELEVATOR... The room smelled like smoke....The air conditioner was worst.

My husband and I decided to stay here for our anniversary because we couldn't afford to go anywhere else. We booked a jacuzzi room. It was very nice! Just the little bit of romance we needed! The greatest thing about it was that it was across our favorite fast food place KFC! LOL The only things we didn't like was their so called "breakfast" because it was just cereal, bagels and stuff like that. We were expecting a real breakfast. :( But what do you expect when you go cheap. I would definitely recommend the jacuzzi room for couples! Don't be scared off by the other comments. It's not a 5 star hotel but it's a nice and cozy place to go.

We booked 17 rooms over 4 days for a sports tournament. We found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in need of upgrades but our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was sufficient and the area was large enough to accomodate our team.

Dirty -- Unsafe -- Terrible, Terrible-- Terrible....Would sleep in car, train station, bus station, anywhere, but at this Days Inn. If you cannot find other accomodations in the Ann Arbor area, Please travel a little further...worth the additional time and cost!!!

The room absolutely stunk. The carpet obviously hadn't been cleaned in weeks, maybe months. None of the outside doors worked when one attempted to open them with the key card. The ice maker didn't work, and the vending machine didn't work either. I ran my finger, enclosed by a tissue, across the top of the dresser, and there was a heap of dust on it. It was disgusting. My sister wouldn't even eat in the room. We bought a pizza and actually ate it in a park located a few miles down the road. There were also several plugs going into one recepticle. We could not imagine that a motel in a classy city such as Ann Arbor is allowed to operate in this condition. Next time, if I cannot get a motel for a football game within Ann Arbor, we're going as to stay as far as Toledo rather than at this dump. It was a terrible experience, and I emphasize, "Do not go here even as a last resort."

The lobby smelled bad and was dirty, and when we asked to see a room, we were not allowed to. We also were not allowed to see the pool area. This was evidently not allowed until after check-in. BIG red flag!! The desk attendant barely spoke English and was not helpful. We walked out and will never come back. Ended up at the Comfort Inn across the street, where we were VERY happy with the room and the service. Also discovered that the Baymont Inn next door to Days Inn is owned by the same people--they share a pool--and sometimes people who check in to Baymont are sent to this dump, so I'd stay away from the Baymont too!

The place was a a dump. The gentleman who made the reservation is traumatized to the point that he can not bring himself to ever make another hotel reservation on line or by phone. To make matters worse, the other members of his party continue to make fun of his ability to make any kind of travel plans. The rooms were so disgusting that one of the men actually began to get sick. The bathroom had a sticky substance all over the walls and sink, the television didn't work, broken furniture was piled in the corner of the room. It was so bad that the group didnt even unpack.
