Daytona Beach Spring Break Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/09
If you are not interested in hearing loud music in your room until 1:30 am on a fri or sat do not stay here. Furniture out of date and mismatched. Room smelled like urine. On the positive side they let us get out of our reservation for 2nd night.

Great service and fun location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/09
We decided to try this locations New Year's Eve event...WOW what a great deal. Hotel room (nice accomodations) 2 bars with entertainment, chamagne toast and breakfast the next morning. The staff was fun, amazing and so different from any other Holiday Inn. Their restaurant was not like any other hotel restaurant that I have been in...exceptional. The staff and management team should be very proud of this property.

Beware of cancellation policy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/08
I haven't even been there yet and I'm already having problems with this hotel. I tried cancelling our reservation, but to my surprise, I came to find out that this room was an "advance purchase" room and that I would NOT be able to cancel. I was very shocked to find this out because their website and online reservations were very misleading. Shame on you Holiday Inn. I even spoke to their general manager and couldn't resolve it.

bad furniture
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/07
Our last visit at this Holiday Inn was very mixed feelings, Aug 5-7,2007. Ths staff was great!! The front desk receptiontists were very plesant, helpful and handled the crowds very well. The furniture in our room was another story. Granted this is a family hotel but . . . I felt like I was sleeping on a waterbed from the 70s. Everytime my husband even moved the whole bed moved!! Even our daughters (24 & 26) had the same problem. The arm on the chair was ready to fall off and anytime. This could be a very good place to stay but they need to put some new furniture in the rooms soon.

OK stay, but convenient to the lake
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/05/05
They ended up giving us the handicap room, so the bathroom was weird with no apparent tub and everything else was lower than normal, not good for a guy over 6'3". The king bed was ok - although they need to get rid of that terrible comforter.

Best in the Land
By MichelleV, 05/11/05
I liked the pool boys and the way they serviced me. It was awesome. The breakfast was simply amazing, especially the fresh squeezed orange juice and crispy bagels. I loved the way the mattress felt on my bare body.
