Comfort Inn Farmington Hills, Farmington hls

I have stayed at this Comfort Inn at least a dozen times while I'm in the Detroit area on business. We have a corporate rate which is a good bargain. The hotel staff are always very friendly but not always very accommodating when I need to find a quiet place for one-on-one meetings. (I usually meet in the breakfast lobby near the big-screen TV, which can be distracting if there are people who want to watch TV while I'm meeting with someone.) The breakfast is okay--just a typical self-serve breakfast that hotels often have...cereal, oatmeal, bagels, juice, etc. The rooms are always comfortable, but it seems like there's always something wrong with the toilets each time I stay there. And as others have said, some renovations would be a nice improvement. Location is convenient, but it's very difficult to turn left onto 12 Mile Rd. during rush hour traffic. One thing I like about this location is that they offer guests free passes to the local YMCA. (I often take advantage of that.) I also like how they recently added a computer with Internet access to the lobby for guests to use. But the problem is that just about every other time I'm there, the computer is out of order. I will probably continue to stay here whenever I'm in town on business.
