10 reviews for Falmouth Inn, Falmouth
reasonable pricing and great service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/09
When me and my family went to the cape this past june we decided to switch up where we would stay and it was a great decision to stay at the Falmouth inn. the service they provided was very helpful and each of the staff was friendly and courteous. We would definitely go again. we enjoyed the breakfast and karaoke. The rooms were not too fancy but for the price it was still a steal.

Don't bother going here..
By Michael, 05/22/09
Yes it's cheap by regular standards, but you get what you pay for.. The beds and room are so outdated you will think your in 1965, bathrooms have no or little venting, smelly towels and dirty bed spreads. No wifi, no free newspapers and a very noisey place to stay in deed. The continental breakfast was a couple frozen muffins, cereal and apple juice and coffee. Do your self a favor and don't stay there, you'll thank me for this advice.. Mike

Served the Purpose
By MaureenL, 09/28/08
We stayed overnight to attend an evening wedding nearby. The room was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. Hallway was quiet at night and early am. We would stay again and recommend this hotel.

Totally disgusting!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/08
This hotel should be shut down. Besides being very dark and needing updating, the beds had stained and dirty mattresses. The pillows had hair all over them. The toilet had a plastic covering as if it was cleaned but was filthy. I had to wipe everything down with wipes. My family and I had to leave before bedtime because we were so horrifed!! The hallways and rooms smelled and the carpeting needs to be replaced. The only thing that was decent was the pool. I have no idea who the people are that wrote decent reviews for this hotel? The staff at the front desk were friendly, but that is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel.

Uncomfortable Beds
By The Fan Man, 01/03/08
The 1st time i went a few years ago The Falmouth Inn was just beconing me to return. Upon the return things had changed. The beds were hard as a rock, the covers were very stained, and all in all VERY OVERPRICED!! Would have expected much more for the price. The only advantage was the indoor pool which if doesnt close at 8pm is a nice touch to any hotel.

FLEA BAG
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/07
This is the worst hotel ever. Rugs in hall way were stained. Dining room, hall and pool were VERY DARK. At the pool there was a window missing so the mosquitoes could come through. NOT GOOD. The room was also DARK. Not many channels on the t.v. The beds were too soft. Woke up with a back ache. There was a sheet hung up in the tub in place of a liner. Come on, break down and get a decent liner. There was no iron, ironing board, hair dryer, refrigerator or coffee maker. At least get a refrigerator and coffee maker in each room. WHY IS EVERYTHING SO DARK? We should have walked out when we arrived. Paid too much for this flea bag. VERY OVERPRICED!!! Good luck to whoever stays here. WHAT DO THEY WANT YOU NOT TO SEE!!! HEALTH INSPECTOR SHOULD COME IN AND CLOSE THEM DOWN

will go again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/07
I've been here twice now, both times found it a pleasant stay. Nothing fancy, but reasonable & clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful, providing anything requested and giving tips on the area. Even went so far as to drive us to the bus depot when we left. Loved the location, close enough to walk into the main town area, but enough out of the center to be peaceful. Shops, harbor, & restaurants in walking distance. Trolley stops almost across the street going to Woods Hole. Complimentary coffee was great, but a continetal breakfast would have been nicer. Patio area could use some maintenance and updating, since it is lovely to relax by the pool. All in all, had a great time, we look forward to our next visit.

I like the friendliness of the staff and the location of the Inn. The price is pretty good also. You can pretty much walk to any shopping areas.

I loved everything about it. Great location easy to take the kids to the beach! Great pool! great food! I loved it. The Inn is a family place they have the pool for the kids, and the night life for the parents. Great bar, and great pool!
