great location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/08
the hotel was clean and comfortable. it was located close to town and the ferries. the staff was pleasant and helpful. after arriving and staying 1 night, we decided to stay another 2nts and were able to use the internet special. there was no problem in receiving this discount. we did not use the pools. the breakfast was basic with toast, bagels, juice and coffee. as stated in other reviews, it is not the ritz, h/e we were very pleased and for the price you can't beat it. we would recommend to others and stay again.

Sure be back again
By Adam, 05/27/08
We stayed in the renovated king size bed room at this motel from 5/16/08 to 5/19/08. It is clean and fulfills our basic needs for a budget accomodation. Their continental breakfast provide bagal with cream cheese, wheat and brown bread, coffee, apple juice and OJ. It exceeds my expectation for the money I paid. But don't expect to use their pool which I do not care for anyway.

very clean and a good value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/21/08
We stayed overnight on a Saturday. It was mid April, so it was quiet. The room we had was a KING room and it was very clean and it looked like it had just been done over recently. My husband has a bad back and he found the King mattress to be very comfortable, as I did also. The drapes in the room on both ends were very sloppy looking and didn't close completely, but other than that, the room was very comfortable and spacious. It has a fridge, which is a plus. The breakfast is very limited and they serve Sunny Delight for OJ, so I would buy my own juice. They had only sesame bagels and they cut them in fours and there is white, wheat and county style bread for toast, butter, cream cheese (Phillie), Welch's grape jelly in a jar, and a jar of peanutbutter for your toast or bagel. There is also Cheerios and frosted flakes and 1% milk. The coffee is ok and there is hot water for tea (lipton tea bags). I guess it's better than no breakfast at all. They have an indoor pool, but owner just painted the interior of pool, so we couldn't use pool, but the pool area looks nice, there is also an outdoor pool, obviously not opened yet due to time of year. YES, we will come and stay again. We have a wedding in Sept. and we have reserved 2 rooms for my family.

You get what you pay for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/07
Likes: The location was pretty convenient. The staff was pretty accommodating. My wife thought the free breakfast was good. Dislikes: A non-smoking room smelled smoky. Everything in the room was old; the fridge in my room was as noisy as a jet engine (I am exaggerating here, but it's noisy). Thin and creaking floor/ceiling made my room on the first floor extremely noisy-- I could hear my upstair neighbors every move! Recommendation: I wouldn't recommend this place. However, if you don't mind cigarette smell, noise, and outdated furniture, and is low on budget, then this place may be for you. If you do decide to stay here, do yourself a favor and ask for a room on the second floor to cut down the noise from neighbors.

NEVER AGAIN!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/18/07
After booking this hotel based on other on-line reviews, I was shocked to find that the property was disgusting! Our room was old, dirty and looked as though it had not been updated since the 1970's. This was the kind of room where you do not let your kids take their shoes off! We even found prior guests items between the mattress and head board! How could they have changed the sheets and missed that??? The "heated" indoor pool was not heated - it was freezing! We were told a part was broken in the heater and would be fixed the following day - it wasn't fixed the entire time we were there! We tried to find a different place to stay but everything was booked (July 4th week). We actually almost cut the trip short because we couldn't stand one more night there. I would NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN!! I have to wonder who actually wrote the favorable reviews. Even the ice machine was empty everyday!! Do yourself a favor and do not stay here!

It is what it is.......
By Jason, 07/04/07
If you want Club Med, it's not. But if you're looking for a perfectly located home base for a trip to the Cape, this is it. Location was terrific. Breakfasts were simple, but more than good enough for someone to start their day. I believe price is fair and would stay there again.

Perfect for those on a budget!
By hh448, 08/03/06
Walking distance to downtown, easy to find, nice outdoor pool, fridge in the room, a little over $100/night on a weekend, which seems good for the Cape area. Very family friendly too. Continental breakfast available as well.

It was ok, could have been better though.
By Lara, 05/27/06
It was ok, could have been better though. There were no problems with the hotel itself -- just some noisy guests in the parking lot. The room was a bit spartan.

Cancellation policy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
I had to cancel my reservation due to the serious injury of my daughter (she was treated at the emergency room). The day before our planned trip she had a follow-up with our doctor who ordered x-rays and confirmed that she could not travel. I called the hotel on Monday morning to cancel our Tuesday night check-in. I was told they have a 3-day cancellation policy and would charge my credit card. I kept trying to reason with a manager. The manager supposedly had been given my name & phone # 4 times & won't return my phone calls or talk to me. The one time I reached him he said he would only charge me half the room rate if they sold the room. On the Tuesday of my check-in I called pretending to need a room & was told they were full. I then spoke to the manager and told him he could not charge my credit card for a room that was not available. I just got my monthly statement and I was charged for a full night. Do not trust these people with your credit card!

location location location

Location would have to be the best thing about this motel. The desk staff was not very friendly and the office is not open 24 hrs. Also our car was broken into in broad daylight in the parking lot. Other than that the room was cleaned daily and the location was great.
