Exceeded Expectations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/18/11
Just needed a place to stay for a few nights and wanted to keep the price down. Staff was very kind and helpful, Place was clean. Exercise room and all equipment was clean and working. Breakfast was included and well prepared. Its a little out of the way but if you have a car, Harvard Square is about 15 minutes away. The area is safe to walk around. They also have a shuttle service. Fridge and microwave in every room. Right next door is a liquor store and a Whole Foods. I have traveled all around the states and all around the world and never write reviews. I decided this place earned a few positive words.

Would not frequent again
By karmathecat, 5/4/07
The last straw for me was a mouse in my room last night. Now, rodents are not always indications of a lack of cleanliness, but when the cute mouse ran under the curtain and I pulled the curtain back, I found dust, dirt, and what looked like shredded insulation--probably Mr. Mouse was responsible for that--just an area that was in great need of a good cleaning. The rooms are on the small side, for a party of one, it was fine for me. Any more than 2 to a room might be too many. The bathroom was not great. Small tub, sink that leaked. Toilet jammed up next to tub/shower so hard to adjust water without standing in the tub. Front desk staff bored and indifferent. Free shuttle to T station that they provide, but they don't seem thrilled to do that. Skipped the breakfast, for the same price Starbucks is attached and there is a Dunkin Donuts across the street and another around the building out front. This place is cheaper than almost any other hotel in Cambridge and is a good value. There were a couple of student groups and some European tourists. Since I was travelling on company business, I will stay closer in next time and upgrade to a nicer hotel.

Think Before you Go
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/18/07
this hotels isnt all its cracked up to be. The room was ok. It was clean and the pool was nice. However this hotel charges you 12 dollars a night to park in their lot which was a public lot that is shared with starbucks and the restaurant 99. I found this to be absurd. Then they charge you $5.00 for a continental breakfast in the morning. Most places I have been the continental breakfast is FREE. for gods sake its old bagels and a waffle maker. This place is not worth the 150.00 a night they charge.

nice and clean
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/29/06
This is a very nice and clean hotel. Staff are very helpful. Although the hotel is next to a subwat station is far from everything else. The location is not great. Restaurant next door serves good food. Overall, I will recommend this hotel.
