Don't Stay There
By Dee, 10/14/10
Walked into room and it felt like a sauna! Heat was on highest setting, immediately set to coolest and after 9 hrs. room was still hot. Got a horrible nights sleep (?), Not clean, no complimentary shampoo. Awful. Cost more than our next night at a clean comfortable place in same city. Holiday Inn Express was much much better.

Worse than bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/29/10
We couldn't stomach this place. Refused to stay overnight and got a refund. M question is how can Quality Inn allow this to carry their brand???? A shabby, cheap dump....and they tried to charge $119 per night!!!!!!

Rat Traps in Room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/4/07
Hazardous to your health is the bottom line if you stay at this place. We encountered foot long rat traps in our room. The management was reluctant to give us another room and were ambivalent about our concerns. Pieces of the ceiling would fall on us whenever a door closed. I am not sure if we were exposed to asbestos. Stay away if you value your health!

PIG STY!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/1/05
I am not trying to be funny. This place was squalid, nasty and foul. I wasn't looking for much just a clean, comfortable place along the highway to stay for a night. But the "Quality" Inn was beyond bad it was uninhabitalbe. No satisfaction from corportate office or local management.

Be warned, this place is a DUMP!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/28/05
Paint peeling, wallpaper falling, filthy sofa, bedspread and carpet. Bathroom was grimy with cracked sink and tub and rusty fixtures. Microwave, fridge, Jacuzzi, coffemaker were all broken...not that I would have used anything in that hole. Do yourself a favor and keep driving.

Not very nice, low grade!
By Chris S, 6/1/05
The hotel from a distance looked okay, but after closer inspection, the tub had rust and scum all over it, the ceiling tiles had mold. The room smelled bad. I ended up just 'washing' my hair in the sink and didn't touch the shower! We got out of there as soon as it was light. We did make a nice trip to Assateague Island and saw the ponies and also to Ocean City for Cruisin' Week, so the trip wasn't a loss. Pocomoke City is very sparse and we ate at Friendly's, but weren't too impressed. The Maryland visitor's center on the highway was better than the Virginia one. Cheap gas on the Virginia line! $1.899/gal!
