Worst Hotel Experience Ever!
I only stayed two nights, Sunday Monday, but the two nights were not the best. I arrived late Sunday evening, and was NOT told there was a $14 million renovation being done to the hotel upon check-in. The first morning I went to work so didn't notice the construction noise. The second day I got sick and just needed to rest, but the noise was SO loud, it sounded like someone was jack-hammering in my room. I had a migraine and it was the worst noise ever! I called the front desk who advised me everyone was told about construction when making reservation and upon check-in. Well since my resvervation was done online by my travel agent, no notice was given and agent didn't tell me upon check-in. Finally after getting up, packed and dressed it was 11:00a. The mgr moved me to a room on the 14th floor where the noise was minimal and could be tuned out w/ earplugs. I was given a late check-out of 3pm even though I asked for 4p. I feel they could have comped something off the price of the room too.
I also was displeased to know the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel was closed on Sun and Mon.
I found the front-desk clerks not very helpful or nice. Not service I would expect at $199/night per person.
I would never saty there again. There are too many other hotels to have to put up with these people.
