14 reviews for Ramada Inn Baltimore West, Pikesville
all good, nothing bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/09
The place was clean & staff friendly, breakfast tasty No problems. Just off Rt695 beltway. Looks like they have made changes since the bad reviews back in 2005. So glad, because I also needed a room for my mother & didn't want to have her staying at an unclean place. I took the chance from the most recent reviews & was pleased. Nice room for the price.

Overall Value - Good
By JS_Nick, 05/30/09
First time in Baltimore with my wife, 12 year boy and 10 year girl. Nice quiet neiborhood, Target store right behind the hotel, 8 minutes drive to Owensmills Shopping Mall. Only set back, having to change rooms at 11:00pm becuse A/C stopped working. However the new room was in better shape and the A/C worked perfectly. Nice size refrigerator which we used to cool some water bottles. I would recommended to others looking to same some bucks.

Complete 5 Stars Very Honest!!
By Ginger, 06/04/08
I left a valuable item in the rm when I checked out. That evening I recalled it and called the hotel. Housekeeping had found it and turned it in to the front desk and not a single thing was missing!! You couldn't ask for a better place to stay! Not only that, the room was very clean, theonly faults I cold find was the upholstery on one chair was loose and concrete on walkway outside broken up. The beds were clean and comfortable. I felt very secure and safe here. They allowed us to check in hours early without a single problem. Every employee greeted us and were very friendly. I will definately stay here again!

Never Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/27/08
We stayed here for two nights and were unsatisfied with the room. We have stayed in other Ramadas and this one did not meet our expectations. When we got here and went to the room our disappointment began. Inside the rooms were not as clean as they should have been. On one of our beds there was a yellow stain in the sheets, which managaed to stay there all weekend long (good thing we didn't need the second bed). The bed was also very uncomfortable to sleep in, we both woke up with back aches. Overall, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel and would not reccommend staying here.

perfect for the price
By Brendan, 08/15/07
Hey me and my 3 friends went down for the weekend to see the red sox and stayed at this hotel. When we got there it was a nice easy check in and the room was very nice and clean.. no smell.. there is a train station right down the street that gives you access right into the city . the pool is very nice....the only problem that we faced was that the shower clogged a little which meant you showered in a 3 inch puddle but hey we didnt care at all.

Expensively cheap and disgusting!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/09/07
The location was very convenient, since I was there for a nearby interview, but, the hotel had a bad smell. I noticed blood stain patterns on the quilted comforter. Near the refrigerator, there was a piece of used Magnum condom wrapper on the floor. The bathroom was rather unclean. There was hair all over the bathtub, as if it was just wiped down with a dirty towel, instead of scrubbed and cleaned properly. The housekeepers were rude and bothersome, before checkout. I wish I had stayed at the Hilton up the street for the price I was paying for one night. The $96 payed could had been used there. That was my final stay there and I will never come back!

We will never go back!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/07
We had a mouse in our room. The only good thing was the location to the highway 695..The bathrooms are small you could not turn around without hitting a wall or something. No manager on duty at all although the signs posted in the rooms state otherwise.

Skip This Hotel, Please
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/05
We made reservations under a wedding block. We were charged more than the contract price. We were told that we had made reservations through a booking company--NOT true. We made reservations for 3 rooms for 4 nights. We arrived and were told we had 3 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms had not been vacuumed. One room had bugs in it and mold on the shower curtain. One room had a broken toilet seat that had been "repaired" with masking tape. (Guess what! They replaced the toilet seat as we were packing to move to another hotel.)The gal at the front desk was rude and argumentative. The manager was also rude and argumentative.

better off sleeping outside
By carolm, 07/31/05
i will never stay at another ramada inn again the room & bathroom were too small.the beds ( & i tryed both of them ) gave me a very bad back ache. the microwave did not work, they had too many shopping channels on the tv,you had to share the parking lot with an outside restaurant which made it hard to find a parking spot. the breakfast was dry cereal and donuts. so if you stay there don't say you were not warned. stay home you will be better off !!!!!!

dont go there, not worth it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/05
The person "in charge" calling herself Patsy williams, and the man who works along side at the front desk. Are the most irrespectful, bad manners, no answer-people, rude, etc. They will not listen to, or answer any questions to people that have any kind of accent, telling them that they "only speak english?" All the while talking in english. Leaving all our family members trying to contact us on hold for over an hour each try. They are rude. They hung up the phone and are definitely not "people-service oriented" They feel that they dont need to service clients, they are the ones doing one the favor. You are left at their mercy! Good Luck to you all who goes there! Two Thumbs Down!and lower if possible! Dont leave your home to go there, leaves you feeling too angry!
