Very Nice hotel for the money

I was very happy with the Holiday Inn Oceanfront. The beach was clean and uncrowded, the hotel grounds were well kept, and the room was very nice for the price, even having a sofa bed and a full kitchen. My only complaint was that I was looking forward to the swim-up pool bar, thinking that it would be relaxing to hang out and have a drink. The problem was that I could not even get close to the pool bar, as adults were standing in front of it being very loud and rowdy. I even felt bad for the families with young children, as they were loud and rowdy with loud music playing. But I did like the hammocks, they were VERY relaxing.

Not a Place I'd Recommend to Anyone!

I went on business, so I had no control over which hotel I stayed at. This hotel was full of flies. I've been to lots of hotels of all prices and none of them had a problem with flies. One of my co-workers' room smelled like food since whoever had the room before her had cooked a meal without opening the doors to the balcony to let the odor out. Besides that, her TV didn't work. The best thing about the room I had was the nice view of the Atlantic Ocean and the close proximity to the ocean. I don't like this hotel at all and wouldn't have been there then if not for my job sending me there.

Will definetely go back!!!

My husband and I went to Ocean City for our anniversary. We arrived at the hotel and found the staff very friendly. The room was amazing. Oceanfront with full kitchen. Although we didn't need the kitchen it was nice to have. The room was clean the bathroom was clean. I liked that each room had a private balcony. I would recommend this hotel fully.

Pretty nice

The view from direct oceanfront rooms is amazing. There is a curtain separating the living and sleeping areas. Good value if you negotiate. They are not pet friendly, and from the look of the carpets they might as well be. Overall appearance of cleanliness is good, but if you look closer there may be some concerns. That being said, for about $15 more than their normal price you can stay at the Hilton ocean front. The maid also went through my clothes drawer to leave her tip envelope under my clothes. Why not just put it on top of the dresser instead of going through my things?

Love this Place....

Excellent accommodations, affordably priced, very clean and well laid out. This hotel offers the best of the best when it comes to being comfortable at the beach. 2 Great restaurants, a pool bar, snack bar at the pool too! Have a nice tropical drink while lounging in the outdoor pool... and while the kids are in the children's pool.... or, go inside to the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Also, it wouldn't be the beach if you didn't go and relax on the very clean semi-private beach they have to offer. Also, there is a fitness center, business center, game room and a conference center for larger business groups. They do take part in Holiday Inn's Priority Club, so you can use the points you've collected at this hotel, and of course, add some!!!!

what i like about the visit because mrs.Rose and Natasha and the whole staff was wonderful,we call and for whatever not even five minutes they was knocking at the door.It was a surprise 60th birthday gift for my husband everybody was so helpful and i want to say thank you all.for a great job.i commend your staff home away from home.my god bless you and heaven smile upon you.Again thank you. Great Getaway

I really enjoyed my stay. The oceanfront view was wonderful, the outdoor pool was great, the room was clean, parking was perfect. Over all was very pleased and would stay there again. I went with my daughter (age 20) and we enjoyed a few days of enjoying the ocean and pool.

not going back

went there last year and had a great time.Rooms were nice and clean.This year different story,room was not comfortable ,complained the first night and was told thats how the are,also had bites an my arms and ankles also our daughter had bites over her body.would we go back,No checked out another Hotel while we stayed there and will be staying with them next year

DO NOT STAY HERE

What ever you do, DO NOT stay here. I paid for the first night on my credit card and the second and third night by cash. Employee Rose stole my money and tried to bill my room to someone else's room. Over a month later the person's who's credit card that was billed called for refund and then they billed my credit card for the second and third night after I had already paid cash, mind you over a month later. Rose took my money never accounted for it and now I have to pay once again for a room that smelled like urine, gum on the walls and snot rags laying in the hallway for hours. We visit Ocean City Maryland every year for a cheerleading comp, and there are tons of hotels to stay at. Please listen and stay someplace else. Rose commited a crime by stealing my money and they support her. I can't promote a business that allows there employees to steal from its customers.

Will not visit again....

Hotel staff was courtious and friendly upon arriving and throughout the duration of our trip. The hotel was not cleaned to my standards, and is in desperate need of an update. Rooms are small, outdated, while kitchens and baths are in dire need of some upgrades and updates. On last morning of trip, my son noticed that there were a descent amount of baby spiders under the coffee table, crawling on the floor. My family and I will not be staying there again, nor will I recommend this hotel to others.
