Second strike in 3 weeks

Did you ever think it was you???? Maybe they just forgot? Everyone has one of those days? No one is perfect. Well don't convience yourself it is. You pay good money for service that they get paid well for. If not they wouldn't be working there. Three weeks ago I was on a business trip in the area. Company recommended hotel. I normally stay at Embassy suites 90% of the time. Upon arrival I check into my room. Noticed no iron or ironing board. On the way out to dinner request one. So I get in late, and did not think about looking to see if it came. Wake up in the morning running a little late, guess what? never came. To late to wait, so off to my business meeting a little wrinkled. Chaulked it up to as an over sight.
Past weekend stayed using my Hilton points. reserve 2 rooms, one for my daughter and her husband as a gift and one for my wife and I. Arrive 11:30PM check in, Confirmed 2 King non-smoking for 2 nights. Well my wife and I check in no problem. My daughter and son-in-law get 2 double beds. So they go down and they straighten it out. They go to the new room and it's a king smoking. My phone rings in my room and it starts. So now I get dressed and go down with the 2 of them and vent my frustrations. So 1/2 late they settle in. The bar stays open late by the way.
Next day we go out return 11:00PM to my daughter's and son-in-law dismay the room was not cleaned, bed was not made and no clean towels. To late to make the bed. At least extra towels. So my daughter asks, if this is how the Hilton's Reward program works they would have paid for a cleaned room. Good bartender.
So in the morning the clerk asked how our stay was. I sure she was sorry she asked. But promised that the manager would call me first thing in the morning. Not holding my breath.
So if you are planning to stay here, at least the bartender is understanding.
