Watch the rip-off

After arriving home, noticed we were ripped-off for $1.50/night for a "safe charge" for a safe that was never used - or never agreed to be used. In addition, the place is pretty worn out overall.
 
 
 
 
 
NEVER BOOK AT THIS HOTEL

We took a student group trip to DC, the hotel was very unfriendly and unaccomodating. The front desk manager was rude and disrespectful. So clearly has no business education, or an idea of how to run a hotel. We booked months in advance, and they still managed to incorrectly assign the rooms, We had to wait for the "private breakfast." I would never let anyone I know stay here, there are so many BETTER options to stay at. I advise you....do not book here.
 
 
 
 
 
Not so welcoming

This hotel was not as close to the metro as advertised. We were not told that the hotel shuttle did not run between 11am and 4pm nor were we told that we had to sign up for the shuttle to pick us up at the metro. When complaining, the day time manager was rude and disrespectful. Location was not good; there wasn't much of a choice of restaurants or shopping with in walking distance. We saw cock roaches in our bed room and there was food left on the floor from previous visitors. This was not a good experience for my party and I.

Bad experience

It is a bad experience to live there. It is far away from the closest metro station, inconvenient for people without a car. Shuttle service is not guranteed. Room is small, service not good, and they will even charge you for 800 phone calls.
