The Claremont Hotel & Cottages, Southwest Harbor

The Claremont Hotel is right on the water. It has a beautiful boathouse which serves lunch and cocktails. My parents were married on the hotel's lawn in the 80s, my grandmother visted every summer for 20 years, I plan on getting married there. It is so beautiful and peaceful. I remember sitting down on the hotel's dock watching the sailboats with my grandmother - or watching the fog banks roll in. THe hotel staff is friendly and always around. If you like traditional, good service, and good food. This is the hotel for you.
