Beautiful on the eyes!
By ,
Lovely to look at but as far as ammenities, it falls too short for such a high star rating as this. Could have at least a coffee pot. For a definate plus they offer free hot chocolate and peanut butter sandwiches from 10-11 p.m. in the lobby a great way to have a snack before bed!

Great Hotel
By ,
The location of this hotel was very good, close enough to walk, if you felt good, to the French Quarter, or a short taxi ride.(not too expensive). A couple of blocks from the trolley line. The room was comfortable, although small. The staff was very accomodating and helpful. A plus for this hotel. I would return on another trip.

Very average service for a first class hotel
By ,
I had problems with this hotel from the very beginning. They checked me in to the wrong room, a room that was already occupied. When I finally got to my room the bathroom was somewhat dirty. The staff were sullen, and made me feel like I was bothering them when I asked for information. I received absolutely no help with my bags, in fact the staff even stood by and watched me struggle!!! Then to finish it off I got billed for my pre-paid room!!! The restaurant and bar however were outstanding, great service and great food. The peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were a very nice touch. I wouldn't stay here again.

I would go back
By ,
Great location, beautiful hotel with gorgeous chandelieurs. Unfortunately our room was very dirty, dust everywhere. The floor in the bathroom had not seen a broom for so long... The buffet (breakfast) was delicious. Worthy the expensive price.

Truly Elegance
By ,
Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Location is just outside the French Quarter so you can enjoy it during the day, but return to a quieter neighborhood for resting. I have tried Windsor Court and Iberville Suites in the past. Neither hotel had the value I found in Le Pavillon. I look forward to my return in a couple months.

Nice, clean, elegant hotel
By ,
Very nice hotel. Do not know about stiff prices as we booked through Priceline. Staff was very friendly with us. Hotel did sell us on a larger room for a very small charge once we arrived, but it was our choice and was worth it. The only thing that we did not like was the location. It was quite a several long blocks from the Quarter. This is not necessarily a bad thing. However, factor in that if you are deep into the Quarter (French Market, Cafe DuMond, JAX Square), you have to walk all the way to Canal and then several more blocks to the hotel. After a long day of walking around it is an awfully long way to have to go to get to rest. Otherwise, it was great.
