Terrible

Late night room clerk was terrible. Looked at room and it was terrible. Decided could not take smell. Returned to desk to complained and advise clerk we would not be staying and wanted to make sure there was no charge to our card. We had a problem making sure there was no charge to credit card. She just could not do that. We had only check into the motel?? three minutes earlier. Room smelled terrible. We told her we would be back in the morning. Next morning return to motel??? to make sure of no charge and morning clerk was worse.
I had been in the travel busines for over 25 years, travelled all over the World, never had such a terrible experience.
Owner/manager was not available. He called us a couple of days later and solved problem.
Stayed at Days Inn behind Quality much cheaper and did not smell.
