I sure miss the Springs
By suemay, 9/29/10
I feel lost that the Springs is no longer there. There's not another place out there that was as reasonable for all you got. I saw some of those reviews that weren't so good. The Springs may have gotten slack in the last years, but I had been going there for 18 yrs. and it was a nice place and the food was good.

bad place to work for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/18/09
when i first started working there it was fun and a good place, but the last year it was very hard to even get anything to work with.We did the best we could do with what we was allowed to have .The main people in charge let everything go they just stopped caring about the motel and their workers.

My Old Kentucky Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/28/08
I have been staying at The Springs Inn since July of 1992 and I've stayed there probably 30 times. I am in the horse business so when I go to Lexington, Ky, The Springs is my home away from home. I've come to know waitresses that have been there over 30 years. I love the place. It's got charm and atmosphere that no other hotel will ever have. You can feel the history there. The food is out of this world. The best fried chicken we've ever eaten. The best Kentucky Hot Brown we've ever eaten. I love the lounge, I love the pool. I have wonderful memories there. I will stay there as long as I'm alive and it's there.

after 8 yrs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/1/05
after 8 yrs of staying at the springs, it has hit the bottom of my list. we have referred over 30 people to it, we have taken guests ourselves there, but the service is getting so lax that the value and location is no longer a good thing.

BUGS!!
By Jerry M, 6/18/05
We've been staying at this Inn for about 4 years, and it has gone steadily downhill each time we visit. This past visit (June 2005) we had ROACHES IN THE ROOM! We demanded our money back and left. We suggest you choose another place to stay in Lexington!

The Customer is Always Wrong
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/27/05
filthy room...very old. will never stay again. the food in the restaurant was cold and of poor quality (tasted old). Made the mistake of visiting the lounge. the waitress tried to charge us for drinks we didn't have and argued with me when I disputed

Will be staying there again this year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/14/05
I enjoyed my stay at the Springs Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful; my room was neat and clean. The only concern I had dealt with the laundry facility. I stayed for a week, and having to wash clothes was a must. The facilities were too far from the normal guests rooms. Other than that, all was great.

excellent, attentive, family owned and you can tell
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/28/04
They really treat you right and make you feel like you belong and it is a home away from home. The lounge and restraurant are really nice.

back to the 50's
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/23/04
Bugs in my room, worn sheets, dirty bathroom, bad food and the loudest punk rock group I ever heard in the lounge...decide for yourself
