Will not go back!
By Kevin, 10/29/09
Stayed 4 days we were there for our sons wedding, would have left and went somewhere else but no refund. The room was not very clean, bathtub was old and dirty, carpets were dirty, lamps were dusty and old, just didn't want to touch anything! My wife sprayed lysol everywhere, beds were old and uncomfortable, has to be the worst place I have ever stayed. Next time we will only book for one night until we see our room,so we know what wer'e getting no wonder there is a no refund. We'll never stop here again.

Would not go back
By catrina, 09/12/09
Andre, the guy at the desk was very nice and pleasant. Our room was not. The room smelled bad, carpet was dirty and there was 2 dead roaches in bathroom. We did get and AARP discount and staff was friendly.

2 day stay turned into 3 day.
By Jill, 02/22/09
The room was nice and they had a great area to walk our 2 dogs. The housekeeping staff was extremely helpful when we all came down with the flu and ended up having to stay an extra day as none of us were in shape to travel. We definetly would stay there again.

Recent Ice Storm Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/22/09
We live in E-town and stayed there because of our power being out for 12 days due the devestating ice storm of '09. We were very fortunate to get a room here because they take pets and we have two. We never were given maid service during our long stay. In the beginning it was understandable because the hotel was understaffed and unprepared for the onslaught of local guests. But even after the guests trickled out over the next days, we were still handed our bedding and towels at our room door. We even had to help ourselves to soap and toilet paper on the maid's carts when parked outside other rooms. By about the 4th day we asked for our room to be vacuumed. We had to go to housekeeping and were handed a vacuum to do it ourselves. Also I had called for a wake up call one morning and never got it. One morning we went for breakfast and there was nothing. Not even cereal. The desk clerk said that the mob waiting in line for Denny's free breakfast came and ate it all. I asked why they were permitted to do that and she said she wasn't sure if they were guests of the hotel. She was not apologetic but very defensive rude about it. Hmmmm...she could have asked these moochers to see a room key to prove they were guests...All in all though, given the unusual circumstances, the staff probably did its best...Under normal circumstances I believe it would have been more organized and therefore a more pleasureable stay. Kudos to Stacey, the manager I believe, she was always very friendly and helpful. The other two desk people (a black man and another woman) were much less friendly. The acted like it was a bother to help with anyhthing...

*Great for the Value*
By AwesomeDo78, 11/30/08
Loved the pool. Son liked the fitness room. The lady at the counter gave us a AAA discount that saved us $20.The only problem as the first the room we were given had a broken air cond, no problem to move rooms, to a better grade room by the pool. Really pleasant staff with a decent cont. breakfast. I would recommend. We would stay again.

Not what the pictures look like!!
By Kevin M, 03/02/08
I was not at all happy with this hotel, when we checked in, we were given our room cards only to find out there were people still in the room, then went back and it happened again with another room, The room had dirt and food pieces in the corners, the smell was musty. The pictures that are shown on there website do not even look like the rooms. Not at all happy with this hotel, will not stay there again.

Very poor room/exercise room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/05
I did not have a good experience at this place. The room was in very poor condition. I want to note that I gave it only 1 star for cleanliness, but in fact the main problem wasn't dirt or grime but was that the furniture, walls, etc just looked very old and beat up. The room smelled very musty. The place appeared to be understaffed when I was there. The front desk person tried to help enough but had difficulty knowing how to cancel my reservation when I decided not to stay. A pretty long line formed while the person was trying to figure it out. Other reasons I didn't stay: there was a problem with the handle on the shower...it kept moving on its own toward the "hot" end rather than staying put where I set it unless I pushed on it very hard. Also, I checked out the fitness room. There was a very odd, unpleasant smell in it. There were 3 machines in there which looked to be very old. There was 1 treadmill, and I could not get it to work even when I followed the instructions on it (and I use treadmills regularly). The staff person did end up cancelling my reservation with no charge. Other people in the same training I was in in this city also had negative things to say about their rooms at this place. Cannot recommend.
