Continental Inn, Bowling Green

We ended up staying here a few nights ago when we were in town for business. It looked fine enough to sleep from the outside and the lobby so we got our key and went to our room. As soon as we opened the door a smell hit us in the face that was horrid! It smelled like a drunk homeless dog covered in urine! We left the door open for a few minutes and went on in the room. One bed was decent but the other was basically a box spring with blankets that sat at a 90 degree angle almost. We went into the bathroom and low and behold there in the toliet was someones crap! I almost puked! The bathroom was filthy as was the room. We ended up closing the bathroom door and just tried to go to bed since we had called the motel 8 next door and they were sold out. As soon as we got into the bed we did not even get to fall asleep before we started itching! It was awful!!!! I can't stress enough to you not to stay here unless you like filth and torture!

We travel to bowling green from louisiana every year to visit family. we like to stay here, because it is close to family, but the manager is very rude every year. Will not be staying anymore.

Please just get off @ exit Downtown Bowling Green, Do yourself & family a favor, Very Bad managment Both of them!!. Been There..Will Never go Back!!! Bed Bugs, Roaches, Bad Service all the way around. Thier ads Lie!.

Do not recommend my worst enemy stay here unless you wish them bed bugs! Absolutely FILTHY rooms!

Our plans was to stay the weekend. We left at 10:30 in the middle of the night. The management team need to go to some training somewhere fast. They were rude and the housekeeping was terrible. Sandra in housekeeping was Great!!!!!!!!!! Our whole experiece there was not worth the trip nor the money (which we got back for the one night). The rooms were smelly and old. And the attitude of the manager and her assist was unexplainable. Beware of this hotel.

I really liked this place because it was close to everything. Everyone seemed very nice and like a big family. All the employees seemed to enjoy working there. Laughing, and everyone working together. you don't see that anymore in the public. very clean motel. nice flowers out front. We will be back for sure in September for hot rod reunion. Girl up front who checked us out very helpful. had a computer and printed us out directions to our destination. sweet girl i think her name was Julie.

The beds had clean sheets and were comfortable. The room was exceedingly dirty. The floor hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while, lots of stuff accumulated in the corners and behind furniture. The mirrors had spots on them, hair on the counter and dirt in the corners of the bathroom. The tub drained very slowly perhaps because the drain mechanism was lying in the tub on arrival and we had to place it back in the drain. We arrived late and were very tired and didn't complain until the morning. The manager was very rude. She asked why we hadn't complained the night before and after examining the room alone said it was fine. She suggested that perhaps we don't know how to operate the drain of a bathtub. We travel some and have never complained before but this room was very bad and the staff weren't interested in hearing about it.

Be warned they have a 72 hour cancellation policy. Manager is not helpful. Our whole group had trouble.Stay at the super 8 next door indoor pool, etc. Steve

i felt at home, Linda and Jill was very polite Not only did they tell me directions they took me and my son Willie to see the movie Cars, the housekeeping was great Karen,Sandra was the best, I personaly i could not ask for no more

it was an older property but seemed to be clean and renovating some rooms. employees always seemed to be cheerful and nice. front desk clerk (Jill) helped us with directions and was very pleasant.
